Have you got patience to "comment on responses" you get for your discussion?

I look forward to commenting on responses from my discussions. i feel like it keeps the momentum for the discussion going. It gives others the chance to participate as well.

I'll commenting back no matter what they write, and I have less from what you mentioning above. Without responding or commenting the discussion will not called participation. We here for socialize, and be a big family. I felt myself enter into a complex issue but could finish if we speak properly.

Yes I comment back to all of them, even the one liners. It's not a discussion unless I add something to them and of course we so not earn for those responses. Those who post them do. I don't start many discussions but the ones that I have started even a long time ago continue to receive responses at a later date and some have over 100 now but I have acknowledged them all. It's not fun reading a discussion where the original poster never gets back as it's not really a discussion if they don't share their view as well.

I've never received 100 responses, but what I always try to do is comment on most of the responses I receive. I feel it's my responsibility as a discussion leader to manage that discussion and comment on responses in order to extend the discussion. I don't comment on every response - just the ones that are good quality responses and add to the discussion. Think of it like this: if there are no comments, the responder is talking to him/herself, and who wants to talk to themselves on a discussion site?

I will definitely comment back on the responses I receive with patience EXCEPT the ones that are totally out of topic! Basically, it will only depend on when because there is no specific time given to do it. I can do anytime, but I will surely get back to the respondents because what for do we create a discussion if there is no interactions? What do we want to achieve from that discussion?? I guess besides being polite and appreciate the time of other users who contribute and participate in the discussion, most creators do not know that by responding to all the comments they receive, they will earn.

I will do it without fail.I have commented to all of the responses that my discussions received But I don't think it is necessary to leave the comments immediately. Depending upon the availability of the time, we can leave some lines there. But if we do it immediately, it will be better as the participants may express their view still more.If fail to leave the comments or the responses are posted after a long time, I will comment to such responses while I trying to resolve the discussion.If we fail to comment to the responses, the members may fail to post their view with the doubt of "the discussions starters may ignore the responses or the fail to turn back to their discussion."

I do not have the time to go back and respond to each and every response to a discussion. I am too busy online daily with all of the other sites I work with and my friends discussions instead. I have patience but no time.

yes, i will reply to all the responses that i received. in fact, i had replied to all the responses i received. i have a few discussions over 100 responses & i remember taking about 3 months to reply to all. i have never neglect/skip any responses. for me, each & every response is a contribution & i appreciate them.

Hi Baluydav, I respond to all comments on my discussions but would not like to be the position of receiving more than 100, I have a couple from this week that have hit around 50 or 60 which is a lot. What usually happens though is that friends tend to respond first, and well chosen friends have something witty and original to add, plus other respondants are welcome. However if one is unfortunate to end up in that digest thing then a lot of rather inept one line response tend to come in which have really nothing to say or add, I'll respond to be polite but at that point it is more of a chore and as they respond so shortly they will receive short comments.

Well I have not in such situation till now, but definitely I will take time and make sure that I comment back to each and every response I get, its like appreciation for the responder that I have read his views and shared mine with him personally. And if you have got such a good number of response for your discussion, then surely you will have all the different views or even similar views but written in different fashion. It gives satisfaction that so many members are participating in your discussion and you should appreciate them.

Hi baluyadav I respond to each and every one of my responses, even though they might be one liners but still i respond to each of them, well i am lazy and 100 responses is simply too much for me but still if i happen to get those many i would take the pain to respond to each one with patience, i will take a break and probably respond to the remaining the next day but i have to respond to each one no matter what. have a nice day baluyadav!

Hello Balu, Nice discussion you have there. I think I wouldn't answer all the responses on time. I post discussions once in a while and some of the discussions I have get many responses from Mylot members. This is what I am happy but looking at the tones responses there, I am kinda worry how much time I need to reply back all those responses. More ever I log on at Mylot everyday not only for replying the responses that I have receive, I still need some tine to check around some good discussions that interest me. So what I normally do is I reply a few responses day by day and hopefully by one day I am able to finish replying all the responses I have there. For me, I will reply to the response that interest me and responses that need my further reply. For those response that are low quality, say s only one line or two lines responses, I will leave it until I really free then I will reply.

hello baluya, The biggest response that i got was more than sixty responses only. but when ever i had time back then i would comment on all of them. besides, they took there time, besides i can use the notepad program to speed it all up the commenting and responding. Well, there's no need to comment all responses at the same time right? :) I don't start many discussions, only when I feel like it. And I do come back to comment the responses I got, but not all of them. Usually I come back in every two hours to give comments. So scheduling really helps me doing that. I usually comment on every single posts. I rarely got the low quality ones because I choose not to post discussions that can be responded with a yes or no.

I am not that fortunate to receive that many responses to my discussions. I wish I did, but hey, as long as I get responses, then that is fine with ne. I do take the time to comment back to them, as I feel that they have taken the timt to respond, I am going to give them common courtesy and comment back. And besides, I won't earn from it unless I do, so there is a benefit of doing so. The most responses I haved received is 37, and for me that is good, as I have had a lot of trouble even coming up with a good enough topic for users to be interested to respoond to. That is the main reason, I would rather respond than start as it is much easier, and I don't have to think quite so hard about what to say.
