Do you like drinking Slurpee?

I especially like drinking Slurpee in hot summer because I think it is even cooler than other drinks. I looked up the Slurpee via the net and hard to believe it was created in 1967. It has a long history already. I have the ice grinder at home and I made my "Slurpee" tonight (see the attachment). Finally I put the mango jam I made and then mixed it. It tastes super

It sounds wonderfully refreshing. Is it the same as the smoothies we make with a machine in the US. Slurpee was a trademarked name of some company, I think. I love mango.

Yes, it seems only 7-11 has the rights to sell it.

hi youless hatley here I have heard of them but do not know just what they are, but I love a diet coke or diet rootbeer when its really hot outside or tart lemonade. I am sure Slurpee is delicious but as with most soft drinks I cannot indulge as I have diabetes. alas.

ha ha ha ha ha... I too love a good Slurpee. I remember when I was a kid, and there were no 7-elevens around, Slurpee was sold as Ice-e. The logo is that of a big white polar bear with cool shades! Heh heh... making Slurpee at home? That is way cool! Try making up a batch of ribena and then freeze then in the fridge. Once solid, put the frozen ribena in the ice grinder and you get a super cool ribena slurpee! If you want something healthier, try freezing fruits in the fridge. Apples, Pineapples, Peaches, Cherries, Grapes, Watermelons... etc. Put the frozen fruits in the ice grinder together with a splash of orange juice and you get yourself a very fruity slurpee that is all natural!

Slurpees are really amazing! But, I didn't know they were available the whole world over. That's so cool. I love the idea that a single drink could be shared by everyone everywhere, sort of like a unifying force. Sometime,s I make my own homemade slurpee by simply freezing Pepsi or Cola in the freezer. Orange soda or Sunkist makes a very good Slurpee. Though in the Deep South, we call it a Slushee.

I don't think I've ever had a slurpee, myself. I usually get the Icees in the summer. I think they are very good. I didn't know that the slurpee was created in 1967, either. The concoction you made up sounds very good. Kathy.

It is easy to get the slurpee here because of many 7-11 stores.

I love Mangos! It were said that Mango is good for our skin. And i love Mango slurpee and mango Shake. Your DIY mango slurpee looks great! My mouth is watering, as you know, in our place, it's still hot, so it's still good to get some of the slurpee! haha

slurpees - A Slurpee is a frozen carbonated beverage (although not carbonated in Canada) sold by 7-Eleven. In 1967[1], 7-Eleven licensed the product from the ICEE Company, and began selling it as the Slurpee. Slurpee is a registered trademark of the 7-Eleven Corporation.
Hello youless. It is so capable of you to be able to make so many different kinds of food and drinks. I am sure that your family like it a lot as it helps with the thirsty in hot summer or when the weather is hot.
