I have several blogs and I have them all at blogspot.com. Now I have bought a webhost and they recommend wordpress. I have been used to blogpost and I find it very easy for a non-IT expert like myself. But I'm willing to learn if Wordpress is really good. Can anyone help me to decide? Should I stick to blogspot or shift to wordpress? Thanks for your help.

As of now, I'm still clueless, but slowly I'm getting the hang of it and I'm beginning to see the light.. Wordpress is a blogging platform like blogspot. Come on join us, at blogspot first. It's very simple, so you could have some exposure with your articles, feature them in your blog.

I've never used blogspot.com, but I really enjoy using wordpress.com and I am no IT expert! Not even close. But if you enjoy blogspot I don't see why you would waste time and energy switching everything over to another website.

Although Blogspot is a popular blog platform, I prefer WordPress. As you have said above, Blogspot is very easy to use for a non-IT expert, but in fact, you will tend to WordPress if you have been familiar with it before. Yes, compare with Blogspot, WordPress is more widely used in the area of blog for its various features, all kinds of plug-ins. So, from where I stand, to shift to WordPress is a better choice.
