revenge

You must have heard this adage "An eye for an eye will only make the whole world blind." I believe in this. If somebody does something bitter for you, try being sweet to the person. He/she will definitely realize their mistakes very soon. If you are unable to be sweet with him/her just because they have done something bad or wrong to you, it is better to stay away from them rather than taking revenge against them. If you behave in the same way they did to you, what is the difference between you and them? This is just my opinion.

Revenge would never make you feel better.

It'll drive you crazy sooner or later.

Revenge is not the best solution, never, ever.

I do not think that it is a good idea personally.

If someone has aggravated me to the extent that I am very angry with them (which is actually quite rare), I simply phase them out of my life and have nothing further to do with them.

I do not see the point of becoming unduly bitter about things though - such negative emotions are irrational and serve no purpose.

i remember very well about 10 years ago, i was accidently tresspassing on private property out in the bush one day by myself (hunting for something in particular) and was interupted by people screaming, you in the blue car get out here now, then i could here a smash and a bang, i was quitely pooping my pants, and then finally after about 5minutes (nearly a lifetime) i called out im coming out!
when i got out, there were 2 adults in their 40s and 3 large boys prob around 20 26 and they were smashing the crap out of my car, and stealing every thing worth anything! the man asked me why i was tresspassing i responded sorry i didnt know i was, this is while they were searching through my wallet and recording my address, any way after they let me go, i rang the cops when i got home and told them what had happened, they seemed alot more concernd for what i was looking for than my general well being and basically told me not to pursue any charges or ill incure my own!
after that ordeal i felt very angry towards the hillbillies, still to this day i have resent, and sometimes i wish i could take out my anger on something somehow, to do with that family anyway, but im also a big beliver in karma, and i belive they should have got what they deserve by now...

there are absolutely NO positive qualities or aspects to revenge whatsoever as far as I'm concerned...There is nothing sweet about it....

When was the last time I got revenge? Other than Karma doing her thing, never...I've never been one to "get revenge" and never will be one to do that...its just not my style or desire..

I believe in kharma as the true great equalizer! Or the age old expression "water finds it's own level! To wit; a year ago, I bought & daily use the first E-bike on this Island! I normally drive a 1985 Ford F250! My future brother-n-law, drives a Jag, and his wife a Mercedes (new)! He feel in love with my E-bike, when my son rode it to his house! He went on line, found an E-bike for half the price of mine...BIG braggin rights! He quickly found out that his E-bike was terribly inferior to mine, and he was pedalling..(which he hated) on every hill! So, he "one-upped" me one more time...and bought the cadillac of E-bikes, every encounter he challenged me to hills/race etc.! He truly enjoyed his mockery of me/my bike! Lo, and behold, after a trip to the Corner Store, I encountered "brother-in-law" totally broken down on the side of the road. LOL! I gracefully, rode my E-bike home.....got my beat-up ole Ford truck, loaded his superior E-bike on the back of it....and took it home for him, where he had to get new parts. Now that's revenge...felt a little smug, I did! That's "sweet revenge"..Cheers!

Sometimes the best revenge is to do nothing. Let them live with who they are and what they've done and trust that Karma comes back twofold. People get out of life what they put in to it. It took 3 times for me to learn that revenge is not worth it. It's immature. It's not going to make you feel better. It didn't make me feel better anyway. It's better to learn something from the experience to apply for the future.
