Do you find people tend to fall ill during busy holidays?

that is a definate truth! when i work extra hard, i tend to eat badly cause i dont have the time to prpeare proper meals, but heres a kunundrum, when i get into full on fitness, like riding to work (10.4kms one way) and eating really well and drinking heaps of water to try to better my body, i tend to only last a week of doing this then ill come down with some sort of sickness and be forced to eat crappy food and drink not so good things etc. so why is that??

Hello my friend zhuhuifen46 Ji, Asa retired person's wife, we both have permanent holidays, we can say, we are permanently sick, as we take some mesicines regularly. But I think, when we were working, it never happened taht we got sick due to busy schedules. One must take sufficien rest to overcome fatigue, Let's relax first. Yes, many people do get sick during the holiday season for lack of activities and too much eating. It is a time for lavish food and parties. If one is not health concious with regards to his intake of food, chances are, he will get sick. enjoy!

Holidays are meant to be relaxation time, freeing ourselves from our daily stresses but if one fall sick during holidays it will be a meaningless vacations. I think when one takes vacation overseas, the change of weather and food tend to upset our routine which will make us fall ill.

This is so true.....you get caught up in the activities and get worn down..plus you are probably out with alot more of the public which are carriers of different types of viruses etc....so it's true. I do too....and getting ready for the holiday it seems like you are always on the go.....

I do notice that. I don't think that it is just the holidays though. I really think it starts in the fall time around September and October. After all that is when the kids are back in school and catching all the germs.
