I am a chronic shopper. I shop all year long. By the time Christmas buying season arrives I have everything bought already - except for the childrens "santa". There is always the latest and greatest products that come out just before Christmas so I always leave room for those. Shopping for everything in the last month is too much stress - too much financial out put at once - ans too time consuming. Plus what would I shop for the rest of the year?

Oh yeah I have already started!! Were pretty broke most of the time so I buy a present for my kids every now and then when we have some extra cash! That way we don't have to spend alot of money, that we don't have anyways, all at one time!

My nextdoor neighbor has done all her xmas shopping my daughter has started, but neither my son or I have even atarted or thought about it, we seem to be the last minute shoppers too, it is good to get them though well before as prensents are cheaper too, LoLo

I actually already have a few items for Christmas already. I've been picking up items here and there as I see them at stores and on sale. I prefer to get a few items ahead if possible. I feel that if I come upon something that is on sale and I know it'd be a great gift to give someone, there is no way I'm going to pass that up. I'd rather be safe than sorry because I didn't take on that great deal.

We already have. My husband bought me a wii for Christmas, and I think he plans to buy me video games for it. In any other circumstances I'd say no, but I think I'm turning into quite the gaming nerd with the wii. In any case, I bought my husband a light saber and the banjo kazooie game because he wanted the kazooie game, we both wanted the light saber...
As for for other people, no we haven't...

I've been Christmas shopping for this year since the 26th of December 2008. LOL, so I guess that means that I did start my Christmas shopping early. I try to buy things that I know will be the right gift for certain people when I see those things. Because, the way that my luck runs, I will see something once and remember it for a specific person and never be able to find that thing again. Plus, I've found that by starting my shopping very early, it doesn't put a huge strain on our budget when Christmas actually rolls around.

I start around August, and have at least half of it done already. I like to be almost completely done by Thanksgiving, but I am not so sure this year, that will happen.

my husband and i have always planned to shop early for Christmas so we wouldn't have to deal with Christmas rush. we already have a few items bought, hopefully we'll finish shopping earlier than last year. it's going to be a challenge wrapping them all up! :D

Hi Moneymommy,
Oh yes, I've already starting my Christmas shopping. I have to start mine early or I wouldn't be able to afford presesnt for everyone on my list. It makes it easier for me,much better than a big chunk. Another plus for shopping early is that it allows me to buy more and better gifts.

I do most of my gift buying online so no matter how late it is, it does not really bother me.
