Do you have any fond memories of your Ex? Did he or she make you laugh?

I'm glad you can remember some good time. All to often we remember the worst times, which plagued me for the past few years. It's nice to remember good stuff, to be able to laugh and feel a little of the love we felt at one time.

Every time he removed his pants, I laughed!!!

It's a shame that the ending of a marriage can be so bitter. I hear of all these "friendly" divorces and I envy them.

I get very sentimental sometimes. There was a lot of hurt during my marriage and I hope that while I learn from these, I can remember the good, too. I do know one thing--I'm done with men, they're no good for me. I know there are good ones but I'm incapable of choosing those that I could have a good relationship with. That's my own failing, not theirs, so I'll quit while I'm ahead!

Unless you change your mind someday, actually it's not bad being single, after all. There can be moments that after being independent for quite some time, it's getting to be fun. There's certainly nothing wrong in being single and enjoying every moment of it. I'm with you on this..

Good and funny memories are so precious and really make our life joyous! I hope to forget most of the bad things eventually. My ex is remarried and he's not all that happy and that causes me some pain, too. I'm glad that I can remember some good times with him and I'm glad that you can laugh at your own memories of your ex. Hold onto those. Forget the bad times, but learn from them for future relationships.

That is the way is was for me the first two years after my divorce, I couldn't stop thinking of him and agonizing over what I should or should not have done. But I eventually realized that it was inevitable that he should leave us and nothing I did could have changed it. There comes a point when you accept that it happened and you begin to move on. That's when you can laugh at things and the bad memories start to fade. I hope you can laugh and cherish good memories someday.

Oh, that must have been hilarious, "hogs fropping"!! How blessed you both are to have a friendly divorce, mine was very nasty and painful. I'm glad I've reached the point of enjoying some memories of him. Your ex sounds like a very nice person!

I will never understand why men cheat if they love the one they are with. Obviously, he loved you. I'm glad that you're still on good terms!

Well, I guess he just couldn't help himself. LOL
Just the same, it was better for us to remain in good terms because I really didn't want to nurse any ill feelings towards a guy who had been very good to me (apart from the cheating part!)

I guess some guys just couldn't help themselves.
It was easy to stay in good terms with him because he had been so good to me when we were still together. I didn't want us becoming strangers because what we had was really special.

It's good that you can laugh with your memories! You were obviously mis-matched but I hope it was a good experience.

That is strange that she will love you forever but you are apart. I hope you both find happiness but it looks as if you have some unfinished business if you still want to be friends with her. Don't worry, it will probably turn out fine.

It's really strange when she said that. I want her to move on and it's seems it's impossible for her. I already moved on with my life without her. I just want her to be my friend cause I don't her to think that we can still be together again. I wish her all the best.
