My 5 year old son has seen those commercials where the little cereal guys are sitting in a hot bowl of milk, now he won't eat shredded wheat unless I heat the milk first. Have you ever heated milk for cereal?

LOL - that is so cute! No, I have never eaten my cereal with warm milk. The thought of it kind of gives me the creeps! I don't like warm milk. Well, unless it is hot chocolate. Then, of course, it is awesome! I hate warm milk so much that I won't even use it at hotels since all it does is sit in a little thing of ice for hours.

I never have but I will for oatmeal. I think that is a good idea but I would be very careful not to make it too hot. I guess I learn something new everyday online and thats just one thing about being online that I like. Take care and happy mylotting to you friend:)

I haven't seen that commercial before and that is probably because we live in different countries but that commercial sounds so adorable lol Anyways, there is a certain type of cereal here called, Wheatbix and I like to have my milk in that warm and add sugar to it. Really yummy. Have a great day and Happy MyLotting. -AidanKay.

Yes, I do use warm milk on cereals - but not all. I always use warm milk with Shredded Wheat, Weetbix and AllBran, and of course oatmeal. It brings out the flavour more - your son has got good taste!
