Do you have a green thumb? Can you grow any plant?

My thumb is black. In fact, my husband requests that I don't talk to, water or look at the plants! I did however have some suggest with my garden in a wagon. Mostly because nature took most of the care. I envy those with green thumbs, because I love a house full of plants.

I think I can say that I am a green thumb person. I love gardening ever since I was a child. I once bought a dying phalaenopsis (butterfly) orchid baby. It looked so terrible with the roots almost rotten. I don't know why I chose a dying plant, I just felt challenged. In two weeks the orchid was in so much better condition.

I think I do, but finding a place to plant in the city is just next to impossible, besides my place is too cramped to accommodate plants. Cheers!

I have a brown thumb. lol I cannot keep plants alive. I kill almost every plant that comes in my house. Even the ones that are kinda hard to kill. My mom is like that too so I guess I get it from her. She used to kill plants and then my grandpa would take them when he was alive and bring them back to life. He had a very green thumb.:-)

hahaha i dont have lol,all the plants i plant die.. my mom taught me even to plant but definitely plant did not live.my mother also plants orchids and shes really good on planting.

sometimes it is green but most of the times, it is brown, lol. it turns green leaves into brown until it finally dies. i know, it is just a matter of taking care of these plants. we have very bad soil where we are as it was once a rice field and it was dumped with sandy soil (more pebbles than soil, actually). we embarked on backyard gardening last year as i sought the help of someone from the department of agriculture. she taught me how to prepare soil. we bought soil and fertilized it. we placed the soil in black agricultural plastic bags (similar to trash bags sold in stores). we had grown very good tomatoes, peppers, eggplants and onions. but the ants have slowly killed them. what remains are the onions, papayas and lemoncito trees. and, of course, the malunggays which are also free for the taking, like u do, my friend.

Maybe i'm including people with cold hands, where plants that i planted will grow and maintain good....At home I keep orchids and anthuriums. All the plants that i care since childhood and now they've grown big, green and flowering.....

hi, I dont have a green thumb at all.I love plants but they are either in the desert or in a flooded area. My husband has a green thumb and is a great gardener.

Me too, have a green thumb. Whatever I plant, they'll grow really good. But now I can; plant anymore, because all around m y house had been plastered with cement by my dad. Furthermore I have mo time to do gardening activity anymore because of work commitment.

Hello manong. I do not have a green thumb because some of the plants we bought this summer are dying though we water them every day. It cost us a lot to buy them. I wish them to come back to life next spring.
