Last month I made over $30 in page views on AC for the first time.

I am so excited they are going up! I don't know how those other people are making $1500 to $2000. I believe they are doing it though. I am trying to get articles in to do the same thing. Hopefully by next year I will be bragging that I make over $100 a month in page views. LOL I hope it continues to rise. LOL This might just be a pick up of page views because of fall and winter. In the US people don't go out as much and spend more time on the computer. LOL Wish me luck. I bet you are one of those people making over $1500 a month.

Only those with 2,000 articles, and able to write 10 articles per day, can make so much in a month oh.
I think if you pay attention to seo, your articles will earn much more after a couple of months.

When I make $2000 in a month on PV only, I will bring Canellita, and we will visit you! In a couple of years you may want to move and not leave a forwarding address, it will take me at least that long to get $2000 a month. LOL

haha, "when" you make $2000 a month from page views, I have to ask AC to check where the traffic comes from.
I guess majority comes from hell, and a few clicks from heaven, some from the busy ants, lizards and cockroaches.
Maybe you can write about "how to cook a pot of demons soup", that will draw all the attention from hell. Then write about "how to borrow wings from the angels", half the traffic from hell, and half from heaven, with angry angels howling over your cave oh!

Maybe you can start by scolding Mommaj, until she likes your scolding so much that she brings you to tour the world!

I am going to have a race with MommaJ and see which of us gets to Singapore first. After seeing your pictures of the Botanic Gardens, I really want to visit. I will send MommaJ a postcard when I get there saying "wish you were here instead of writing articles." LOL

I have a better idea. I send you all three on board the gambling ship. You can take the sofa in the large karaoke room, and sleep there. The ticket includes dinner, midnight supper, and breakfast.
So you can sleep after dinner, then wake up at midnight, eat from midnight to 2 am, then sleep, wake up again at 6:30 am, and have your breakfast.
If you dare snore too loudly, I ask them to throw you into the International waters oh.

Between the gambling and the karoke, we ought to get a lot of sleep!

haha, dont worry, this gambling ship is a large cruise liner, eight storeys, with a few storeys of cabins.
The karaoke room is very big and quiet. The sofa is long and comfortable. Only those gamblers who do not win money will sleep there. It's interesting to watch them sleep. Some big fellows curl into a ball when they sleep. Some people hang their legs up when they sleep.
Those gamblers are gambling happily in different parts of the ship, screaming and shouting, and banging the slot machines.

Thanks... I have been writing for them for about a year and a half. Once I started earning performance bonus, it was always a monthly amount over $15 and rarely below $25. I am excited about finally reaching the $30 and over payment because that means it is steadily going up. YAY!

I wish it were that easy. My pv averages is constantly rising, but it is raising slowly. I hope you join AC. Maybe you can make more than me and scheng put together.

Hi Art, I find that the indexing in AC is very slow. Some of my articles take two months for the search engines to send readers.
I'm reaping the effort for writing the boring series of articles on Economics back in August. I think many students are searching for the Economics concept online. Maybe you can do a series of articles to target the Art students. That will make us sleep better at night!

Scheng, why is it taking so long for viewers to find you? All of my articles get immediate page views. No wonder everyone is writing about Christmas now. LOL I get most of my page views immediately and then a few every month after that. Maybe they are just hiding your articles. It took a day for your articles to show up. When you publish I signed up to get the emails. Anyway, I get the emails and then I pull up the article just to find "content coming soon". That happened on two of your articles yesterday.

Anything, I am excited because that means my page views are going up so my upfronts should go up. LOL I haven't seen any calls over $3 lately, so I don't do the calls. I usually offer all my work for upfront payment. It takes about a week for them to get back to me, but hey, as long as I get paid. LOL

Scheng, I do plan to try and write some business/economics kinds of articles myself. I have just been stuck in my world of Rome and can't seem to leave it. I need to mail myself a ticket back to the real world!

Momma J, The best call for content has been $3.50 for some wine articles and I did one on winter teas. All the ones for travel (I have two in my queue now for skiing) are only $2. There are plenty I don't even see. There was apparently a Call for Content on literary Chicago, and one of my friends emailed me, but it was already gone when I got there. My friend told me she got $25 for one of her Call for Contents. Not many of those, I am guessing.

LOL. Most of the high paying ones are sent to particular writers. I didn't see a call for wine but I am guessing they didn't send me that one because it is not in my interests. I think they "match" some of the calls to your interests. I see a lot of the $3 calls or the $2.75, and then the pv only calls. I'm not writing any of those.

Hi Mommaj, I mean the page views from search engines, not within AC.
Usually a spike in page views are due to search engines, especially when those boring articles can hit the 500 total page views mark, then I know that the readers come from search engines.
Art, dont bully the Pope when you are in Rome oh! Otherwise he prays so earnestly that the weather pattern changes. I think your articles in Rome will do well, if you pay attention to the keywords

Scheng, I thought they were taking a long time to index because I get these Google Alerts (just started), and I put in my own name to see how fast things are getting posted. All of my blog stuff turns up so much quicker than anything at AC. It seems like there are a lot of computer glitches over there lately as well...at least from the forum posts I read yesterday.

Honestly, it's not as good as some of the people on there make. My pv are usually consistent. Just recently they started going up. I think I am drawing some new viewers now, because I have been on there so long.

The way to get quick views is with entertainment articles. The way to keep pv coming in, is to write evergreen articles. What do you write about? Maybe if you write some seasonal articles that will help page views as well.

I have articles about Halloween that are doing great right now. I didn't realize how many people would look at that stuff this year from last year.

I've written about sports though I see that can be difficult. I've also written about wrestling (well WWE and TNA because that's what I'm familiar with). My AC account is in my profile I believe. I'm gonna try Twitter some more and see what I can do with it, maybe HubPages if necessary or Squidoo to see if I can get some views that way.

I could try seasonal but not familiar with Evergreen to be honest. Once I get a chance, I'll see what I can possibly come up with.

"Evergreen" just means articles that aren't dated. For example, celebrity news is dated because in a couple of days or weeks, no one wants to read it anymore. Evergreen is something like great crafts for kids, where the information doesn't expire.

I have an idea what it is. Would writing up something about those looking to find a school after graduation help and count as Evergreen? If it's what I'm thinking, then I hope it's right. I know you mention crafting and that's something I'll admit not being familiar with exactly.

That could be evergreen if it is general. You just need to be careful with general articles because you may not get upfront payments for them. Articles that are evergreen: Ways to stay in shape, How to break into a wrestling career, or what to look for in a college education (vague title needs work, couldn't think,sorry.)

Evergreen articles are information that you can use this year and will still hold true next year barring any major discoveries.

What are savings accounts? LOL Just kidding. I didn't think any were even giving out interest this year with all the problems they were having. I guess they took that into account when asking for the stimulus package. LOL

Well AC rejected my revision but my helium income is over $12 this month so that is something.

Hopefully, we will both make more money. LOL I just hit $40 for this month. I am so excited to see where it ends. I hope I can do that every month. I am sure it is hard to do though. I have been with ac since Feb. 2008. I would like to be able to say next Feb. That I consistently make $40 a month in pv and it just keeps going up from there.
