| Growing up watching Sesame Street  | | | |  I grew up watching Sesame Street and recently got back in touch with it after my son started watching it. Its interesting to see how the characters have changed and gotten older. Did you watch Sesame Street as a child? Who was your favorite character? Do you feel it has changed to appeal to kids nowadays? My favorite was Maria and seeing how she is now older and a more sophisticated is truly amazing. She used to be the one who brought life to the show with her energy and at times sarcasm. I loved her. Now I still love her with but percieve her a bit different than before. I think the show has changed to aim towards the difference of growing up in older times to newer times. Your thoughts?

| | I had similar memory lapses as well but when I started watching it again, I started recalling the actors. There was another actor his name was David. I recently learned that he passed away in '91. That was a shock since I remember liking him too. | |  I remember when I was a kid I used to watch Sesame Street and it was always a very interesting,very educational show,and one of the kids my mother babysits for watches it and she brought him over here one day,and we were watching it with him,other then that I do not watch Sesame Street now,even though when me and my wife have kids,if Sesame Street is still on the air,I am sure we will be watching a lot of it with our kids,especially since you can learn so much from it,and it has a lot of interesting characters on the show and I remember I always loved Bert and Ernie because of the way they acted and the way they treated each other.

| | I used to get sad when the music at the end of the show would begin marking the end. I liked Bert and Ernie as well. THey have new segments now and they don't feel the same as they did back then, but they'll sure be memories for my son when he grows up. | | | |
