Do you find time to play with your child

I play with my two boys from the moment I get home from work until they go to bed at night. We are always having fun together and I never just sit them in front of the TV. I figure my time for me is after they are asleep. On the weekends we always are finding new things to do to have adventures. I think it is important to cherish the moments when they are young and to foster a loving environment that makes them feel safe so when they are teenagers they have trust in you and your parenting style.

I try to play with my kids.
My favorite game with my 3 year old is a game about kissing. I would tell him 'I don't like kisses, then he would try to kiss me. I would avoid it of course. He would pull my hair, my ears, and try his best to kiss me. For some reason, this always picks him up. Even if he just woke up, he likes playing this game.

Yes we had time to play with our child.After coming from office i will talk with my daughter and play with her for a whil and do my work.I can have some more time to spend time with my child is on sundays.we play some games with her and make her happy.we all go for outing on sundays so that we can spend happily sometime together.What about you?Do you have time to spend with your child?

I like to play some indoor games with my kids,if they had completed their home works soon.Otherwise playing is restricted to holidays alone.And we don't have much room to play games in our house or in our street.So,if there is time,I will take them out for a bike ride or a walk.Anyhow,we have to spare some time for our kids which increases the intimacy.Cheers!

hi daliaj. Saturdays and Sundays are the most common time to play with kids. And even in weekdays, we can still play. My kids usually goes to bed too late at night, so we still find some times to play, instead of watching tv shows. I have these two youngest sons, aged 2 and 6, and they are so playful. you can't resist to play with them when they start to cuddle you, specially the younger kid.

You have posted a very grave question. In today's rat race parents find very little time to play with their kids. The children are either dumped in a creche or with their grandparents. They are dead tired by the end of the day when reach home after the hectic schedule in the office. But i would request all parents to spare their weekends entirely for their kids and make them happy by compensating the week days. I have always had time to play with my children as i was a home maker after marriage and now enjoy playing with my granddaughter.

Playing with our kids is very important and now a days parents are busy and don’t have much time to spend with their kids. It is not necessary to find a particular time for playing with them instead we can make the time we spend with them is playful and making fun. For e.g., at the time bath, time of eat etc. if the kid is refused to eat then either we can say a story or can sing a song then the child’s mouth will open automatically and he/she can enjoy that time and will eat too.

I am following this method. The funny thing is when my 8 year old explained about his school day, the younger (2 ½ year) is also coming fast and imitating his brother, and saying something with actions, so that he won’t go beyond and get the attention too.

i am always with my baby and spending most of the time playing with him.
it is a very precious time i think.
we cant get these days back.
so each and every moment i enjoy.

When I get home from work, my kids always swarm around me like bees but sometimes i have this guilt feeling that I don't spend a lot of time with them. They're still asleep when i go to work and they usually see on the evening which to me is very limited. But I try to make up for it during weekends but as adults we tend to tire easily with kids stuff and we have other things to do during week ends so it tends to limit your time with the kids. Cheers!

no matter how busy my work, I always took myself to play with my kids. For me, the child is a medicines reliever stress of work and I found a new passion for running my activities.


Every Saturday and Sunday or holidays, I do not accept the job despite my clients urging to work. For me, time with children is precious time that should not be overlooked simply because busy making money
