I went buy a hat...now I am wearing it.....and that mud bath, it was really good don't you notice my face......

I don't buy foods nowadays as the doctors removed my intestine. ..when I went for a check up...now I only smell food..

Well..the same with me as i don't like queuing as it is quite annoying and tired standing for an hours. Early shopping is good you could have a wide array of fresh display of products be it in grocery section or in other units of the mall section. You could roam around freely not worrying with the presence of large crowd.

I do most of my shopping during weekends and rarely on weekdays...
I like to shop in the morning as every afternoon is my rest day toward the evening and I do not need to move most of the times I watch Tv and sleep most of the times..
yeah, that is the time most workers shop after their work is over and the most convenient time then after the shopping go directly to home...

Well...that is the right time as you mention before lunch and you could have more freedom to choose where their are lesser shoppers the aisle is not yet crowded..thus you could select well and never felt annoy with less noise..

When I am in Manila too have to go to the market earlier as the fresh veggies, fish and meats are usually found in the morning you could be assure that is still fresh quality...
and you could also bought those things a t a reduce price..
unlike in the shopping mall where the price is fixed...

yes, in Manila i guess mornings is the best time to go to the market...but from where i am now, i guess its afternoon...haha coz more fish is delivered in the market at noontime & they are more fresh...
well, public market is always better when it comes to freshness & prices for we can always ask for a discount to the vendors specially when we are already their regular buyers...
but with groceries, i still go to supermarkets...

yeah..I have to rise earlier or else if i go late at noon i rarely see new market products...
Well..the same things here in my place my mother buy fish in the afternoon s fishermen bring their new caught fish by noon and those fish in the morning is not fresh all in iced box...
that really the advantages of buying in the wet market you could ask or bargain for a discount unlike in the shopping mall they are priced high..
the only differences it is more clean, spacious and smelling fresh to shop in shopping mall compare to wet markets who are crowded, noisy and odorous..
but if you are really like to saves a lot and need to budget, i think the best option is to buy from super markets if you like to fresh meat, veggies and meat...
yup, me too in terms of groceries and for convenient nothing could bet the shopping mall...

true...and in wet markets, its also some kind of a challenge for me...haha specially when i do the bargaining...actually i have made few friends in the market since i am always there wekly, most of them knew me already and so i always get good deals...

by the way, are you familiar with 'taboan'? coz in far places here, that's kinda popular, its like, there's only one specific day in a week where there's a lot of things to buy in the market? and during those days, we need to be really early in the market, or else...

Yeah...the Suki and I am the barat type and I always haggle most of the times just to spend less...but the quality is still there...

Well, not ye familiar with that term..usually I do shop in the Alabang supermarket and even at night their are lot of peddlers and vendors all kinds outside the supermarket could buy like 10 pesos vegetables the tumpok type..then the squid and fish too..and the fruits are plenty too like seasonal kind the small oranges, apples, sometimes strawberries from baguio..etc...
like the vegetables from Baguio city they are cheap unlike here in my places it is expensive..like best the cabbage, celery,radish, mustard and cauliflower..

oh i see... well during the 'tabo' there's a lot of fresh veggies and it sells at very low prices coz they are the harvest of the vendors themselves...and they just bring those veggies in the market once in a week... and i guess that system is just known in far provinces & not in the cities & not really known in metro manila areas...and also during 'tabo' there's also a lot of people ho buys on wholesale for resale also, and some are also selling live animals...

the alabang market, well, i have never tried buying there before but i always pass through that way, and the market there is kinda crowded... and before, there's a lot of side vendors that sometimes even occupy the road... specially in late afternoon...but the last time i go home, i saw that its more organized now in Alabang.

Well..that is want I like to see fresh line up of farm fresh pick vegetables and you could be assure they are fully grown, succulent and have no worms in it and live animals too...
and what kinds of animals do they probably sell?
in my places the farmers bring their fresh vegetables early in the morning and they call it the bagsakan area as the place where one could buy the vegetables at a cheaper price...
Yeah, and they are illegal vendors and I think they are being caught by MMDA staff and some even bribe them in order not to get their goods...
well..that is better to be organized as when it is crowded the place is likely to have a lot of snatcher ...

most of the time i saw them selling goats, pigs and native chickens...very rare that i saw them selling cows...
i think everybody wants fresh veggies at low cost... and that's the perfect time of having them...
well i guess, alabang is really organized now even with their terminals...

Those animals maybe bought to be killed for consumption or raise as backyard animals...
yeah, and one could buy it at a cheaper price when compare to the mall which is quite unreasonable in terms of pricing...
that is better as when i was still in manila it is very crowded and disorganizes..

yeah, people who bought those animals use them for their consumption or sometimes they also re sale them...

i think prices at mall is not really that high, its just that we can't buy in small quantity in the mall coz its already packed & with fixed price...

Yeah, they have to breed them then after all the animals are already grown they could be resale result in profits...

Yeah, and it is best to buy in mall with the latest stock especially in the vegetables and fruit section they are all freshly pick and clean. Then, one have to shop in a clean environment unlike in the open or wet market where it is crowded and smelly..

but some, they buy those live animals then bring them to the city for re sale...and when there are fiestas, there's even more who buy those animals...

well, again, malls & wet markets do have their advantages & disadvantages...

Yeah, that is the way businesses are talking place now days..

it is a matter of convenience, quality and quantity.

yeah, most of the sales attendants are still feel fresh and not yet tired that they could assist their customer efficiently and very sensitive to acknowledge every client needs. I do shop every morning and usually it is done every weekend not everyday. As only during afternoon that i am available to shop as i spend most of my times on the house relaxing or either sleeping. well,in your case you could do your shopping where you find it more convenient and during your free time.thanks for sharing.

Well, that a good thing for you as you find shopping nice and easy as in my place their is a rush hours and that is from 11am to 5pm, after all the employees have end their work for the day thus the influx of the people rushing to get first on line and the aisle is mostly crowded. That is why i find it annoying to shop during those hours and I prefer to shop earlier where their are less crowds and the shopping mall is not yet noisy from groups of shoppers. thanks

Doing your shopping even before sunset still good as it would really depend on each person schedules which you find more convenient. As in your cases you are working thus have no time to shop in the morning. Anyway, you could do either shopping in the morning, afternoon or evening during those times when you not working or during weekends. thanks

You could buy early at the morning as it is more convenient and they are less crowds. Usually their are morning queuing but that happen before 11 in time for lunch, then with lots of workers also get out from their offices to take their meals and also with different shoppers who also becomes tired wandering around usually flock to the shopping counters and crowded the aisle most of the times. Thus, if you are in a hurry you may find shopping during rush hours as annoying and at the same time noisy. thanks

It is nice to shop around when their are less crowd and in your case you go shopping anytime as long as you feel not busy or without an appointment. You could do shopping even with a lot of crowd as it would not matter as long as you are patience even waiting on long lines. thanks.

really never hit a real long line as we have enough cashiers to take care of it all. Just hope some arent on break lol

well..that is good for you..as what I observe here in my place, when I do my shopping before lunch their are only few cashier on duty as some are busy eating their lunch and have only few shifts to take their place. Thus,it result in queuing most of the times.
