What have you ever made that you were most pleased with?

The answer would have to be my cards that i make.I tend to make lots of cards and sell them to friends as well as family.I always get compliments about them as well as lots of people ordering them off me.

Ipainted a painting of the ocean with seagulls over it & sold it for $100.00.. I also painted a waterfall figurine, & sold that for $100.00..lori

hmmm. where to begin???.....

I have built a few things like decks, pergolas, bookshelves, tables and painted a few pictures, landscaped a few lovely lots, built a wondrous pond, renovated a home of the 1800's to keep it's charm, knit a throw for my mother, and I am sure there was something else.....

yes!of course! Without a doubt, the best thing that I ever helped create that is my most prized 'beloved' is my daughter..I was there at the time of her conception and tried to be there for many and most other times, good and bad and ordinary in her life. She is a most wonderful thoughtful caring and kind person.. I am soo very very lucky!

This is easy. I would have to say my daughter's prom dress that she wore when she was a junior. My mother was an excelent seamstress and I did pick up some sewing talent from her as long as I had a pattern and if the garment was simple to make. Well my mother had passed away and my daughter wanted me to make her prom dress for her and it had lining!!!! I had never in my life ever made anything this special and it turned out beautiful. I know my mother was sitting right there with me helping me even though she had died a few months before I made this. My daughter was so proud of her dress also.

I made two Christmas wreaths last year out of Christmas tree balls...the unshatterable ones.....they turned out so gorgeous! I just love them....I didn't sell them at the craft sale last year but hope to this year in November...I bought enough to do another one too if I get the time and chance to do it.

Crocheted a bedspread took a year then some one stole it!

To be honest I am not that good with my hands, I have tried art recently, doing art classes and I have made a couple of drawings of the Titanic, although I was pleased at what I had achieved it certainly wasn't a Picasso. I am more creative when it comes to poetry and writing stories. I wrote a wonderful poem back in 2003 which I will treasure for the rest of my life, I got it published! It was called a Brand New Start, I found that during the height of my depression I was writing wonderful poetry, ok so I blow my own trumpet but that was my best creation so far.

I would probably say my parent's 34th anniversay cake this year. I don't have a lot of money, so it was part of my present to them. I baked it myself, and then decorated it with cake tools, complete with a heart in the middle, and the number 34 within the heart. They really liked. I know they could have been faking because after all, they are parents, but I think they genuinely appreciated the thought.
