I neglected my AC account for very long time.

It is more than 3 years since I joined AC. That time, I somehow had the feeling that AC was not paying for non-US residents. Later this year, I learned that I can earn through page views for articles and not for upfront payments. So posted few articles there in the past few weeks and I am surprised to see my page views rise. I am happy but I guess it may be very long to see my first payment.

Don't give up; it really works. I'm close to my 2nd payment already, and it's just from page views. I love AC, it is really a great website and there are just lots of great writers and friends too. Keep going at it...

How much is the min payout? Good to know that you got your first payment.

SEO definitely plays a big part. So does commenting on others work. Usually, you can find writers that do page view for page view. I always try to do it. Sometimes, you don't always get the emails telling you about new comments so you can respond. For the most part, it's accurate though. I don't really have an internal following either, most of my readers are from outside sources. Don't understand that considering the amount of Favorites I have. LOL

Valuable information as always. Thanks for the Bukisa recommend.. I'll try to juggle with AC first.. and see how. Actually, it feels like home too there, just like mylot, and to get to a new site and interact with others again, I feel a bit too old for that, LOL. But you have given some great tips there. No wonder I see many people having 3-4 pages of articles, but they can really write and they know their stuff truly well.

I joined AC shortly after I signed up at helium. It took me a little while to figure out helium and start getting rating and then writing stars. Once I understood it though I started earning right away and made payout after only two months. At AC I have not put the same effort in as helium so I am only at clout 3 and I have yet to earn a cent. At helium as long as you have a rating star you can earn from page views. If you have 1 writing star you can earn upfronts and bonuses. I find it easier to earn at helium.

I do write at helium. I do not write often these days. You can view my helium page through Mylot profile page.

Three long years! It wasn't an easy task. Just took time to write when I was looking after my 2 sons.

OMG, you weren't kidding! How long did it take you to write all of those articles?

I dropped out of Associated Content for quite some time myself, then eventually found my way back and have been making money there, albeit slowly. They pay for page views once a month (on the second Wednesday of the month) via PayPal. I am not sure what the minimum is but I know that I have been paid when it was as little as $3 or so. Even now, my page view money is under $10, and I still get the money every month. Like any site, the more articles you have posted, the better the SEO, the more friends who read your articles, and the more interaction with the outside world (via social networking sites, and Twitter, for example), the better you will do. Good luck with your writing! Hope you make payout!

I know that now they are not offering international members page view money either. I think that they stopped offering money a year ago. I think that its horrible that they are not allowing international members money since this site is the site that earns me the most money online. I think that it should be open for everyone.

I am glad I am eligible for up-front payments since I live in the USA, but I also get decent earnings just from page views/performance pay. I think Associated Content pays decent just for page views, but it's great when you get paid for both. Best wishes!

I think there should be atleast 12 articles for performance payments. I have only 7. I will add 5 more by tomorrow.

You are in the right place. AC is really the best. I am a contributor in this site since 2007 but I am inactive now. But then I am receiving my pay out every month from my page views even if I have only 30 plus articles. I just promote my articles everywhere and I got lots of page views from search engines. I like AC very much and I would tell you, be active in there.
