Quality posts

No one knows how we get paid and I think it is a topic that can't be discussed here as it is a violation against the Terms of service in this website. I also suggest to keep trying your best and keep your best methods to yourself. I'm sure there are many questions that need answering about earning here but If I gain about 0.01 cent per post then I'm happy. Though I'd be more happier if I can earn more of course but I doubt that is likely to happen.

natnickeep to me a quality post means not one skimpy line but four or fives lines and make them make sense.also do plus people
as it helps your own stars,tags are good too but make quality posts by being clear and to the point but not short sentence as mylot does not pay for one sentence anythings.Just use enough
sentences to describe your discussion and read it to yourself to see if you have it the way you want it. also do comment on all the responses you get on your discussions, you get paid for doing that.

Quality posts..yes, I am into it but do not know the exact requirements of what the admin expect in a quality post. As long as it is not one liner and has one or two para and the topic is knowledge based then I consider it as quality. It might differs to what the admin construed as quality. Definitely it helps someone's star ranking if you rate them positively. But the rating system in mylot is opened to abuse and is defective. People should not deliberately rate others negative out of spite as it will have heavy consequences on oneself. One should rate others with brain and brown. Tagging is optional but it is important to get people to see your discussions when you tag your posts in the right interest. I enjoy it here but can't deny that I do get excited when am paid for something I enjoy doing.

Quality post is a questionable matter here ...... I think. The mater here is related to the response and the marking by the Myloter. Means how much response you get here and the marking you get in your posting is the quality measures here.... I think. One other think is related with this is how much best response you get is necessarily considerable. So you must have the awareness here that how you pleased the myloter that you gather positive response and best response remark. You must have the knowledge on the subject matter that you can take part in your discussion.

for me, is that we like to create an article that was favored by many people. If we get a lot of positive feedback so I think these discussions are quality and alive. You have to write long-length, and each paragraph should be informative, minimum of at least four lines. Tagging helps you to connect a similar discussions.

You have asked a lot of good questions, and it is a "quality post". Too bad there is not a page of definitions for users, although faq's and TOS help. About four or five lines of text are considered to be a quality lenghth. It needs to present something to discuss, not be a "yes" or "no" question. The discussion should require more than one word as an answer (do you like Coke or Pepsi? What is your favorite food? are not good discussions.)Unless my computer is acting up, I tag everything. A friend of mine, who was a moderator at one time, said put at least one tag. It makes your answer more searchable through Google and other search engines. MyLot does not condone speculation on how it pays. In fact discussions along that line, or "I got paid today." or complaints about the proprietary algorithm, or what people think MyLot needs to change often get deleted. My speculation would include payment for the number of characters you use, as well as perhaps how often you come up on a search. You do not always see all of your earnings as an increase in post count. That is one way of measuring your work, and play, on MyLot.

i think quality means you have to write more than 3 lines in single post.. i always try to post more than 3 lines in a reponse.. otherwise i wont get any money.. sometime i dont have anything to write leating to the topic. but i write stuff.. otherwise i wont get any money..lolz

I don't think there is an exact way to know how much we get paid for posting. I think the more thorough and lengthy your comments are the pay is higher. At least that is my experience. I get about 2 cents a post every time I write 8 lines or more. When I write around 4 lines, I think I get between 1 and 2 cents. I do tag my discussions and my comments as much as possible. I don't think there is any extra monetary incentive in doing so, but I could be wrong. I never plus or minus people, because I welcome all comments and don't want to shun anyone with a minus sign. I was wondering, however, that after a person has been active and written many comments and discussions if their pay rate increases. This is something I would like to know.

I don't think tags matter at all, it just helps with search when people search for things.

Quality post is anything that is more than a few lines an, an is high rated.

'Quailty' is probably not only used to describe a single post, whether it is a response or a comment, but also the entire dicussion.

If a user starts a discussion and then receives responses but does not go back and comment on them, as well as not earning anything from them (those that post them will earn for posting them), it is merely a question with a series of answers and not a discussion.

In the FAQS there is something which many users seem unaware of and I feel that is is extremely relevant:

"Post quality content. For example, generate discussions that engage other users and provide insightful responses and comments to other users discussions to further the topic"
