Are you dumb or something else?

hmm wel the first 1 goes right,,am dumb at them .. actually i should say thats because i dont hav courage to talk back at them after committing a mistake that must hav affected them in some way or the other .. but stil i wont ignore them cos that would mean we r in a way f .hmmm insulting that person that would certainly add up to our mistakes .. al i could do is jus hav my head down!

il just say..:"hello look whos talking, nobodys perfect"...as if when he tell me that words it bounce back 2 him ...

I usually would ask sweetly if they could teach me, as they are so perfect. But this is something you develop with age. When you are young you usually don´t know how to reply when people are so rude.
To some other people, specially young people who say that to others (not to mer because I´m old) I say one thing is to be dumb and quite another to be ignorant. If they look with defiance, I ask them a normal history question. The young generation in general came out of space ships and think that the history of mankind is not worth learning. After they say they don´t know, I explain that, if I were dumb, I could ask them if they were dumb or something.

It depends...if the other person said it to me in a joking manner I will just let it go. If it was said to me seriously well then HOW RUDE!!!!!!!!! I would go "Excuse me??? What did you say to me?" I need to make sure that I heard it right first. If I heard it right I would then go "If you're so smart then why don't you freaking do it yourself...moron!" That's it...there's nothing so good than giving someone a taste of their own medicine. Given the same situation, if it was my boss I think I would quit if I don't get an apology real quick but I will make it a point to let him know why I quit. If it was my teacher I would go "You don't have to be mean, Mrs. Humpty Dumpty." I mean unless I'm in some kind of a boot camp I would never take any crap from people like that.

Usually the version of that that I hear where I am is, "Are you stupid, or what?" I do get a bit irritated because the comment is conceited in nature. I usually tell them, "I now understand that is best that smart people handle these sorts of situations. Since I seem to be below par for this activity, it would be best that you take over." And from there, I may use that for other tasks as well. Now they are in the spotlight. Now they potentially have more than me looking at them, waiting for them to make a mistake. I will not criticize them, I will let someone else do it if they are around. If something messes up and they begin to complain, I will let them know that it was as a result of something that they had done. It is best to handle this situation nicely. If you get upset, you are merely rewarding them for the situation. If you do not give them what they seek, they in turn will be upset, and potentially discouraged from using it in the future.

"Well, at least I'm the one~trying~" Or something else relative to that. I havent always had a quick come-back for when someone's rude or uncaring in a situation..I just know that they're being an @ss. Most of the time I don't care that much, because I don't have friends who are like that to me^_^.

I really hate that word...I wouldn't even acknowledge they question...anyone who asks something like that doesn't deserve an answer!

I'd get that alot. Actually, I just let it pass because sometimes I kinda do it to other of my friends, so I guess we are even that's why I don't get mad when people tell me that. But if for example you're not a close friend and just a random person and you'd say that to me, I would most probably get mad.
