PDF does anyone know how to e-mail it

Hi read on pdf's and open office to learn and put on desktop and things like that but if I wanted to send a pdf I made from open office for instance how do I send it through e-mail to others?? explain in simple details I have never tried it. or send from my desktop one already there?

Attach it to the email as an attachment, then send the message as normal.

thanks I can do attachmnts but thought it would have to be converted another way from office was not for sure because aot of how to pdf and then converting to something else made me a little confused

If you need to convert it from some other document type to .pdf first, I think there are some free converters out there. Not sure, though, since I never had to use anything of the sort.

simple way is to zip it and then send. as many software recognise pdf and drop it the opposite party may not receive it. but sending it as zip will pass through for sure. also you can protect content by adding password to zip file.

There is an option in openoffice to directly send the document converted as pdf. You just have to go in file menu - send to - email as pdf. The real names can be different since i don't have openoffice in english and i have translated them.
