If you are what you eat... |

I think I'd much rather be an animal than a vegetable.:~D

jb78000 (1707) | 1 month ago | but out of interest which animal do you eat the most?
| |
thea09 (4403) | 1 month ago | JB you'd no more about this than me being a scientist but vegetables don't actually eat in general do they?
| |
jb78000 (1707) | 1 month ago | [ignores thea]
ted, forgot to add - you do need to eat your greens otherwise you will never grow up big and strong.

ParaTed2k (4586) | 1 month ago | The way I see it, when rabbits eat vegetables, the best parts of the vegetable becomes part of the rabbit and the worst parts go out the other end of the rabbit. Which means, when we eat a rabbit, we eat the best parts of the vegetables. However, when we eat vegetables, we eat the parts that become the rabbit... and what goes out the other end.:~D

jb78000 (1707) | 1 month ago | do you want a lecture on how nutrition and digestion actually work teddykins? i can even provide some very detailed diagrams.
| |
ParaTed2k (4586) | 1 month ago | I think that was covered pretty well in my Human Anatomy & Physiology 264 & 265 classes.:~D

jb78000 (1707) | 1 month ago | not that well if you think it works like you outlined above. anyway do you not think it interesting that the most intelligent animals eat either fish (dolphins) or are herbivores (elephants, most of the great apes) or occasionally omnivores (the rest of the great apes)? carnivores snarl a lot and look pretty but they are not the sharpest beasties in the box....
| |
ParaTed2k (4586) | 1 month ago | I just don't let reality spoil a good bit of humor.
Since dolphins eat the "meat" available to them, we eat the meat available to us. Also, there isn't a single muscle group our systems aren't equipped to digest. On the other hand you can't say the same thing for a lot of the parts of the vegetables we eat.
In other words, if you want to turn this joke into a discussion on why human beings are omnivores, we can do that.
Personally, I'd rather just continue eating this great leftover rabbit and keep it jocular.:~D

Rubbing my rabbit's foot for luck.

jb78000 (1707) | 1 month ago | did you think that last comment was serious? oh dear ted - your diet is showing its effects. well we could certainly have a serious discussion (which i'd win btw because you clearly have no idea what you are burbling on about) but given how boring i find evangelical vegetarians, and i'm as you appear to know vegetarian myself, i think it would send you to sleep in minutes. now you still have not answered my question about which poor beastie you eat the most...

ParaTed2k (4586) | 1 month ago | Always fun to bait you JB.. but then again, part of the fun is the joy you take in reciprocating.:~D
Hmmmmm the beast of the feast here at the Parated2k home.
That would probably be a tie between chicken and beef. However, if the question was my favorites, I'd have to say venison, rabbit and Alaskan king crab.

ParaTed2k (4586) | 1 month ago | ::: pats JB between her furry floppy ears::::
Yup, JB, I am a product of the air, the land and of the sea.
| |
ParaTed2k (4586) | 1 month ago | That was "pats" not "pets"... it may be just a vowel difference in spelling, but a world of difference in action. I figured since you already have a pet name for me, I'm allowed to pat.;~D

ParaTed2k (4586) | 1 month ago | but I don't pet rabbits, I usually just grill them...{EG}

Shhhhh, be vewwy vewwy quiet... we'we hunting Wabbits.;~D

jb78000 (1707) | 1 month ago | you can try teastrainer but being a cartoon character who calls his prey 'wabbits' is unlikely to work in your favour.
