That's a good idea, and I have done that. She did respond to I think two discussions. As for being busy she's really not busy at all. She has been ill the past few days, but she spends 90% of her online time at tagged so I asked her if she'd just pop in and check out mylot, maybe she'd find a discussion that interests her, but no such luck. Oh well I guess you win some you lose some right? LOL! Sorry it took so long for me to respond I went to visit my internet momma in Spokane and have been busy trying to play catch up on missed tasks since I got home last Sunday.

Very true Maezee, everyone has different tastes indeed. I am not so much worried about her making me money as a referral, but her having meaningful discussions and interaction with others, and maybe making a few pennies to help herself feel proud along the way. I know my mother has much to offer as far as life experiences for many here, and I know she herself might benefit from the insight of others here too. Who knows maybe someday she'll get bored and pop in right?

Sorry to hear your sister didn't get into MyLot like we did. It's sad really I've found this place to be great, and I feel like so many others are missing out.

notlistening2 I couldn't agree with you more. I have been to other websites but it's just not the same. Mylot is so much more fun to me than other sites I guess because of the personalization I encounter here. In other sites we post pretty html comments which can be nice but to me this is so much better. I'm glad to see others feel similar as I do about mylot.

It's so true we do go through so much together here, and the friends I have here are of the best you could ever find anywhere. We are like our own little family here aren't we? I will keep trying when she feels a bit better. Who knows maybe if I pester her enough like a little child nags until you finally give in??? Just kidding but hey you never know right. How awesome that you did get to like it here. I have been absent lately as I have been extremely busy and I've missed mylot so much. I've missed my friends, and the interaction here, and the great discussions. I know what you mean by "missing out" because it's how I have felt these past few weeks. I hope now things will calm down a bit so I can come in here for at least a little while daily. Yes the few pennies we get are an added bonus and I plan on thinking about them as maybe my piggy bank set aside for a rainy day or to go towards birthday gifts or something. Who knows if I actually can manage to get in here daily maybe it will be a nice surprise by the end of one year or so to see how much I've earned by then. The old saying goes a penny saved is a penny earned, and lord knows we can use all the pennies we can get right?

In just a few months, the earnings have really added up. It will never make me rich or anything, but it just might allow us to buy some stuff for the little one for Christmas. It also feels good to be able to contribute financially, even if it is only a few dollars, because that is what will make the difference in whether or not we will be able to do a little extra over the holidays. Don't get me wrong, I love being a stay-at-home mom, and that is what is best for our family at this point, but it does take its toll financially.

MyLot has opened up a whole new world for me. It allows me to have contact with people that I would never be able to meet in real life, but they make my life a lot richer from my interaction with them on here. I really do feel like I would have missed out if I had never have given myLot a chance.
