Have you ever had your fortune/future read by a fortuneteller? |
|
I have had my fortune read 3 years ago. There were points that came true and there weren't:
The one that did come true was: I would resign from my current job (at that time)...well after a year I did resign and I am glad I found a much better company.
The one that did not: I was told that I should not move in with my boyfriend as he will just use me....I am glad I did not listen to this one because I would have misssed a great experience in my life.
Did you ever have your fortune told?

1. kianli (342) | 4 weeks ago | Hello, earth2jacq! Your avatar indicates that you like estern culture, doesn't it? Consulting a fortuneteller is a very common phenomenon here in Asia. I'm from China, i had my fortune read by a fortuneteller when i was a kid. But so far only one proved to be true, i made through the national College Entrance Exam. I was told i will grow old with my wife, but it seems that she just didn't show up so far, i had two girlfriends, broke up due to conflicts in ideas as either party want withdraw. I also remeber what fortuneteller said about my job, but so far not proved, but it's going to be pretty soon, as i'm one of the graduating class. But anyway, we need to at least do something coz a good life is never an entitlement. Have a nice day and enjoy mylotting!

syndrix (264) | 4 weeks ago | I really don't believe in fortuneteller because nobody can tell what is your luck except the almighty alone. Fortuneteller is just guessing they on what whey are telling and sometimes it just a co-incident usually they will read on your face thats how psychologist been studying.

earth2jacq (904) | 3 weeks ago | Hi Kianli. I am fascinated by asian cultures. Most particularly the geishas (as you can see). I have had my fortune told just for the fun. Although when I was infront of the tarot cards I was a bit nervous of what I will hear. Good for you that you passed the National College Entrance Exam.

2. borhan (653) | 4 weeks ago | In my young ages, i went several times. But now at this stage what i feel that no fortune teller is required. It is your works and hard labour with sincerity combinedly forms a good fortune. Yes, one very important factor is also there, that is the opportunity. No verses of my fortune teller came to true, so far.

3. babyfiona08 (345) | 4 weeks ago | I have tried once. It was during my high school years. I was in second year high school that time if I'm not mistaken. Unfortunately, I can't recall the specific thing she said but It was something like I will be successful and will have three children. I never had the chance to have a reading with a fortune teller again. I am afraid because she might tell something that could bother me. Anyways, it's not about fortunes in the end but how you make the most out of your life.

| 4. chenmatrix (8) | 4 weeks ago | I used to visit a so-called oracle, a middle-aged women with experience about the future, who foresaw my offer from university, job and even marriage. To my surprise, most of her words become real without my intention. The oracel, however, doesn't seem wierd or mysterious as featured by Holleywood movies while not difficult to get along with. when read by a fortuneteller, what you shoud do is that take the advices as potential possibilities and meanwhile largely stick to your own way. Fortuneteller may get you some clues about your future, promising or uncertain but the host of the future is yourself.

earth2jacq (904) | 3 weeks ago | Surprisingly those who can really tell the future doesn't look anything like what Hollywood movies depict. They look like simple people and sometimes they just tell you out of the blue their visions.

earth2jacq (904) | 3 weeks ago | You know when I am a bit uneasy of a certain decision, I visit a site that offers free tarot reading. I used to consult it every other day but now I seem more relax and happy with my life that I don't feel the need to consult any oracles or tarot. Thanks for posting.

6. mssnow (4138) | 4 weeks ago | I've had my trot read a few times, but for the most part it did not come true. I have kinda resigned myself to know that tarot readings are nothing more than for entertainment purposes.

earth2jacq (904) | 3 weeks ago | It is quite hard to find an authentic tarot reader who can really read the cards correctly. I used to like having the freet tarot website read my fortune but I already stopped doing so. I am no longer comfortable with tarot readings when I read that tarot reding is connected with the devil.

earth2jacq (904) | 3 weeks ago | I don't believe in fortune telling I just do it for fun. It is a bonus if the reading about my future comes true...but that does not convert me to being a believer. Thanks for posting.

8. coolsudan (128) | 4 weeks ago | yes i read it once and he said something that actually happened . i was a really bad thing and i regret as it was my fault . from that day i am scared of these fortune tellers and all . i think the future should be better kept alone and found as days come by . we should never haste to see whats coming and be prepared for what could come .
| |
| |
|
|
coolsudan (128) | 4 weeks ago | i would like to add that getting ur fortune read could turn ur whole life .. my advice is that u should never go for it .....u might wanna regret on thinngs later ......u wil think that u could have done something as u knew it already and that feeling is really painful
| |
|
|
earth2jacq (904) | 3 weeks ago | I think what happens when we have our futures told is that we expect it to happen thus we inadvertently do the things, instead of avoiding it (in case of a bad reading), then we attract the thing to happen in our life.
| |
|
|
coolsudan (128) | 3 weeks ago | ur right most of the times we end up doing things that we were told not to do . so if we already knew what is going to happen most of the times we give up too easily thinking that it is anyways going to happen and we cant change it

10. wahmivy (535) | 4 weeks ago | My faith goes against this kind of practice, but I must admit that when I was in college, I did dabble in some occult and for kicks, I learned to read cards (not tarot, plain playing cards). I think it was really just a dumb game, but I'm not about to do it again.
| |
| |

|
earth2jacq (904) | 3 weeks ago | That's cool and you did it not by tarot but by the normal playing cards. Amazing. I use to like to learn how to read tarot cards but after I saw a book with a lot of symbols I just gave it up. I guess tarot reading is not for me.
