Have you ever had your fortune/future read by a fortuneteller?

Consulting a fortuneteller is a very common phenomenon here in Asia. I'm from China, i had my fortune read by a fortuneteller when i was a kid. But so far only one proved to be true, i made through the national College Entrance Exam.
I was told i will grow old with my wife, but it seems that she just didn't show up so far, i had two girlfriends, broke up due to conflicts in ideas as either party want withdraw.
I also remeber what fortuneteller said about my job, but so far not proved, but it's going to be pretty soon, as i'm one of the graduating class.
But anyway, we need to at least do something coz a good life is never an entitlement.

In my young ages, i went several times. But now at this stage what i feel that no fortune teller is required. It is your works and hard labour with sincerity combinedly forms a good fortune. Yes, one very important factor is also there, that is the opportunity.
No verses of my fortune teller came to true, so far.

I have tried once. It was during my high school years. I was in second year high school that time if I'm not mistaken. Unfortunately, I can't recall the specific thing she said but It was something like I will be successful and will have three children. I never had the chance to have a reading with a fortune teller again. I am afraid because she might tell something that could bother me. Anyways, it's not about fortunes in the end but how you make the most out of your life.

I used to visit a so-called oracle, a middle-aged women with experience about the future, who foresaw my offer from university, job and even marriage.
To my surprise, most of her words become real without my intention.
The oracel,however, doesn't seem wierd or mysterious as featured by Holleywood movies while not difficult to get along with.
when read by a fortuneteller, what you shoud do is that take the advices as potential possibilities and meanwhile largely stick to your own way.
Fortuneteller may get you some clues about your future, promising or uncertain but the host of the future is yourself.

Yes, I always do that when I was still a teenager. but I realized that I shouldnt be relying on it.

I've had my trot read a few times, but for the most part it did not come true. I have kinda resigned myself to know that tarot readings are nothing more than for entertainment purposes.

i don't believe in fortune telling though i have tried in my young age .these r fake according to me what ever u believe to happen will happen in ur life.these people try to make use of peoples innocence to build their fortune.

yes i read it once and he said something that actually happened . i was a really bad thing and i regret as it was my fault . from that day i am scared of these fortune tellers and all . i think the future should be better kept alone and found as days come by . we should never haste to see whats coming and be prepared for what could come .

Once when I was younger and I went with friends to a carnival there was a fortuneteller there. All of us had our fortune told I can not remember what all she said. I have not been to see a fortuneteller since then.

My faith goes against this kind of practice, but I must admit that when I was in college, I did dabble in some occult and for kicks, I learned to read cards (not tarot, plain playing cards). I think it was really just a dumb game, but I'm not about to do it again.
