2. Jennlk84 (2275) | 2 months ago | I'm currently reading a book I got at the library called The Pretend Wife. It was in the new fiction book section and the cover called my name with it's bright colors! Yes, I judge a book by its cover first. Well at least that's what tends to attract me to the book at first. Anyways, so far it's a good book! Not an author I ever read before but I'm always willing to try new authors.
BTW - I read a lot of chick lit and this book falls right into that category!

3. dracoserpintenes (255) | 2 months ago | lets see i just rad a book called ancestral hungers by Scott baked which is a very twisted and dark view on vampires plus a little Indian mythology lesson in nagas its also extremely sexual but in a dirty violent way not a romantic way. now i'm reading a funny kinda book called see Jane date by Melissa Senate which is about a girl from queens trying to make it as an editor in a small time publishing company wile getting a guy who she can impress her high school prom queen with at her younger cousins wedding. and i think next i want to go back and reread either a great and terrible beauty or maybe an Anne McCaffrey book.

7. cripfemme (5800) | 2 months ago | I haven't been reading any books lately. I've been so busy writing and going to events for my job. Not to mention battling a consistent case of pink eye. I plan to start reading books in the New Year. I have a plan for myself. I'm going to read 52 books (one for each week) in 2010. It's very sad that I haven't read a lot. I like to read. I have two books on my "to be read" list. I just don't have the time. Hopefully, when I get out of all this writing challenge nonsense I will be able to curl up with a good book every now and then.

8. Apple3Cranberry (615) | 2 months ago | A Christian fiction book called The Visitation. The subject matter calms me even if I sometimes find it to be controversial. I read just a little about the same time almost every night. I'm also reading a book about schizophrenia that has a refreshing outlook. One that isn't hopeless or ignoring, but shows what's right about such traits. This is important to me because I have schizo-affective disorder. There is so much literature out there that will depress someone with hopelessness and yet well proven facts. But this book looks at life differently. I looked on Amazon and there seems to be a few others with this sort of subject.

9. Porcospino (2766) | 2 months ago | I went to the library yesterday and I borrowed some books that I plan on reading in November. Two of the books were written by a policeman, and he describes some of his experiences and his meetings with people who have been involved in crimes. I have already heard about some of the those people and the crimes they commited, but I still find it interesting to read the stories. Most of the stories take place in the 1970's and when I read the stories I laso learn a bit about the Danish society "in the old days", and I find that interesting.
