Think of other sources of energy which does not affect the environment

Wind energy is a good source. Yes, you have to put ugly turbines in a field, but you don't have to cut down any forests to do this. The best places for a wind farm is on a flat piece of land with no trees. The best place to find that (in the US) is in the midwest. The land is already flat, and there aren't many trees in certain places.

I would rather go for conserving existing resources A study conducted shows that if conserving is done at an individual level the existing resources can cater for 10 worlds or even more and still have surplus. There is a quote that says 'expenditure rises to meet income' The more energy the more will it be consumed provided as I said above individuals learn to conserve energy which in turn will reduce our need to create more energy which in turn will save our natural resources.

Well there is also the wind energy which you can tap but the energy that you can get in there is not much like solar is. There has been studies that we can tap energy using the waves of the sea since they say the waves is constant so the energy we can tapped from there would be constant as well and it is always moving 24 hours a day unlike sun which would last only for 18 hours max in some places.

Hi,my friend,we have to think more about oil which we are using for transportation and at the same time the ommissions coming from vehicals destroying environment by Air pollution.
I think in case of energy,Atomic energy may be danger,but not others.Solar energy the best and governments has to encourage people to go for it,by giving subsidies even in remote villages.
To control air pollution,now globe is thinking of alternative oil i.e biodiesel,it may be from palm,vegetable,jatropha,pongamia...so i too working on this and promoting jatropha plantations and thus reducing Global warming.

When it comes to our automoblises, we could you the energy created by the rotating wheels to create electricity much like electricity that is created by running water. Also there is a lot of energy in water and already there are engines that run on water. The problem is not cheap energy sources but human greed that does not allow research on energy sources that cost next to nothing because of the profit factor. If love rather than money made the world go round, what a different world it would be.

PS How about harnessing the energy that is created by our spinning earth?
