 My yard is is full of leaves and for the past few days I have been meaning to clean it all up the problem is once I have made a pile I have to jump and roll around in it then the neighbors dog and grandson join in and I have a bigger mess then when I started but it's just so much fun to do childlike things.When we were kids we had to create our own fun and use are imaginations.I have ofthen been told I am immature for doing such silly antics like that or jumping in puddles but heck life can be too serious at times so I see know harm in it and I still like to blow bubbles and watch them float in the sky.Do you get absurd childlike moments and if you do or would like to what would that be?

| faeryoftheshire1 (180) | 4 weeks ago | Hahahaha...that is just to funny.I like those packets filled with butter or jelly when you stomp on them they make a cool popping sound and a splat:)I also loved dropping water balloons on people but now you have to be more careful.But its a crack up anyway.My former co-workers and I would prank on eachother constantly.Adults like to revisit there childhood fun and kids try to be to grown up....funny how that goes...but I know I will never grow up completely and nor do I want too! | |

I can't remember the last time I dropped a water balloon on someone, it was probably out of a window at school. You're putting ideas in my head now lol. I'm certainly not ready for my pipe and slippers just yet so I hope I can remain a big kid for a few more years at least. | |

There is a big difference between being young at heart and being irresponsible. Thanks for reminding me about the bubbles. I believe I have a big bottle of glycerin around here somewhere. A little of that added to the bubble soap makes the bubbles big and strong. I hope you fly kites, too! You and I both may still be doing those things when we are 110! Sadly, the people who would criticize us will not be there to rejoice in our happiness, as their behavior will result in their own destruction.

| 3. puddytatt (840) | 4 weeks ago |  oh gosh, leaves, you have seen pics of my garden so you know that i will have a shed load of leaves to clear up, the landlord usually does it but we do help him out at times, i usually rake them up and put them in a pile for my veg garden, once they have rotted i can put them on the soil, out front there's leaves all over the place (we have alot of trees here) so i swept them all up, but no sooner did i sweep them up, a gust of wind blew them all over the place, sigh! i despair...LOL....i love playing in the leaves we used to do that as kids and stuff wet ones down each others jumpers, it was fun but we used to get told off by nanna because it made our clothes wet, but it was alot of fun.

Well there is always a child in every adult and there is nothing wrong in behaving like one when we feel like, it, when I am doing some washing up, I would get the soap sudes in my hands and blow bubbles, so you are not alone, hugs.

In fact, one hot day driving home I saw a couple of girls in swim suits beside the street and there was water flooding out of a nearby fire hydrant. They were trying to get cars to splash them.
I was going a different way, but I went around the block to oblige them! They were really happy when I got a HUGE wave over them!
Having said that, I normally don't try to splash people with the puddles, but when there's no one around - SPLUSH!!!!

I love to do things out of th blue that are completely silly or something that a child would normally do. I have been known to talk to my kids in funny voices when they least expect it, jumo in the leaves on occassion and even go snow sledding once in a while. I think it is even more fun when I can get another adult to join me.

Sometimes I would like to recall and play them by myself. One of the games is to make paper toys like plane, ship, pinwheel and so on. From the games, I seem to be able to get a kind of peace in my soul:)
