with add ons no one reads and 2,000 pages I wonder what is in the heads of the people in congrees and I was listening to a talk thing with this debate sort of they think it will pass no one says anything about what the people of america wants.
And I dont think the illeagles should get any health care they are here illegal! grrrrrrrrr

Don't know if it will pass or not, always seems to have to run for awhile and them argue about one point or another. I think that our law makers should have read the entire thing and know where he has hidden the things that he don't want us to know and deal with it out in the open so that we know what is going on. Will they probably not, I depend on people like McCain to look it over and put a stop to what is being hidden from us, will they find it all, probably but will let some slide to get something they want, will this health bill that is so urgent that it will not take effect till 2012, help us, don't believe it will and when you go to forcing people especially ones that live on fixed incomes to do certain things then you are going to have a problem on their hands. I think they should leave us alone and go after the doctors that charge $250. a office call, just to go in and tell them you need your medicine refilled. The hospitals and doctors that issue tests like the MRI that my husband had and the cost $7900.00 for that few minutes. What test is worth that kind of money? Don't tell me one that could save your life, if it has gone that far you are doomed already. These kinds of things along with the high charges for medicine is what makes the cost of health care so out of sight. Why not start with the doctors and hospitals first and leave the little people alone. The only people that this health care package will hurt is the people on fixed incomes and the poor. Oh but we shouldn't be in this world to start with is what I understand.

I hope not, it sure is going to be a mess. Who is going to be able to know what they have and what will be going on.

And Pelosi broke her promise to put the bill online for 72 hours before a vote. Obama is scheduled to speak to them just before the vote. We will not have read the bill and neither will most of those who vote on it. He doesn't need to hide anything, no one will read it anyway.

While the majority of Americans shout "no" to this healthcare reform, the Congress pushes it ahead and pushes it on us against our will.

They continue to jamb this down our throats whether we want it or not. It just goes to show that our government officials do what they want and not what the people want. Rasmussen Reports showed that 54% of people oppose the healthcare plan put forth by Nancy Pelosi and the house Democrats. They continue to move forward with this legislation. Everyone should pay close attention to who voted yes on this bill and target them for defeat in the next election.

I don't know if you have tried to read the bill. I did and it's very hard to understand if you don't have a law degree. Of course, that's intentional on their part so nobody knows exactly what it means and it will be subject to "interpretation" like a lot of legislation. There are a lot of things written into it that a lot of people don't realize. I noticed two things right off the bat, the bill will INCREASE the maximim out of pocket expenses compared to what I have now. It will also make it MANDATORY that everyone pay for health insurance. If I'm reading it right, it appears that, for instance, if you leave your job and don't pay for continuing coverage from your existing insurance company, you will not be able to elect to pay for private insurance from some other company and will only be able to buy the government option.

It looks like it creates 2 new government bureaucracies in the first few pages of the bill and we all know how well run and efficient government agencies are... What could go wrong there? This thing is a disaster waiting to happen and I would bet that it will end up destroying the quality healthcare we have in this country. It will lead to total government controlled healthcare reducing it to the equivalent of Medicare for everyone including illegal immigrants.
