Hello all.
Have you ever received an e-mail notification stating that your comment has been responded to in a particular discussion? So you click and it takes you to the very beginning of the discussion, and you have to wade through dozens of other comments just to see where your own comment is.
This used to frustrate me to no end, but I discovered that if I scroll down a bit in the e-mail and click on "view this comment" it will take me directly to mine :)))
I was soooo happy to find that!
Did any of you know about this?
Thank you.
Karen

Oh yes there are two options in the notifiers.
Only if the response on which you commented has since been removed will you get taken back right to the first response on the discussion but that doesn't happen very often.

p.s. I just did an experiment in your box and the box above yours on the discussion where you responded last. I think you will notice a difference in the notifiers there. You will receive one and not the other

As to your second comment here, I'm not clear about what you mean. Hm. I only know that my method works for the e-mail notifiers.
What "boxes" do you mean?@PeacefulWmn9 (10420)

Hi Jo. I used to have no choice lol, and that is fine on a slow day. I'm happy to know about the other for days there is too much to do and not enough time.

Hello karen,
I always received email that notify me about my discussion response and or a comments. but not to the point of frustrating me because am always scrolling down the message.
You know I prefer to answer all the email notification from mylot, than to scroll over the pages of mylot to look for a discussion to participate...Have a great day, my dearest friend!

You know, karen. I'm not always responding to all my friends comment because I almost spend my time to reply on notifications. But I'll make sure to see first if you write any discussion because your always one being a first person to give comment on my discussion all those called friend are didn't comment's on my discussion except you...That is why I'll make sure to see if you have a discussion but sometimes I miss out to comments in your discussion and I'm sorry for that...

Hello dear friend. I am glad you had already discovered that :))
When I am done tending to comments on my own discussions, I go next to those of friends, and then to some others, like you do.
Have a great weekend.

Oh my goodness! You didn't know there were two different links? LOL, that would have been frustrating! I thought you were going to talk about when the page didn't load or something and when you refreshed it you had to locate the comments.

hi,peacefulwmn9.fortunately,I found it the first time I received such a letter from mylot.or it had taken me a lot of time to view other's comment.I like to receive such letters, knowing that my response has attracted others' attention.so I always comment others' responses to my discussions as many as possible, hoping to make them feel satisfied.
have a nice day!

Hi Cathy Lee. I think that's great :)) I wish I had! That should be a lesson for me to read a whole e-mail. It makes it so much easier.
I also comment when someone responds to my discussions. It is nice of people to take the time to do so, and acknowledging their effort and responding to it is the right thing to do :))

Hi Karen, I've always done that. Not bad for a techniphobe.
The one that drives me mad is when I can see from the bottom of the started list that someone has responded twice and I want to go back and look but there is no notifier at all and if I can't remember which page they were on or if the boxes are long it can take ages to find it. Thank you so much to the rabbit the other day who did that on one the one with 12 pages and I had to trawl through to find her and then she'd left a meaningless 3 words. Evil she was. But that's why people get ignored on a second response as if 2 people have done it we only see one name in the started list.
Anyway I'm glad you discovered this one. I fine it opens much quicker than the link to the whole discussion.

Hi Thea...well that silly rascal of a rabbit LOL.
Yes, those things were driving me crazy, and all along it was my own over-sight. Now I know, and I'm glad of it!
Have a good "Grecian" weekend.

I had no idea you could do this!!! I hated that part of mylot and always thought why it was so hard to find your own responses. I think it is nice to respond back to the comments left but half the time I never worry about it because my response is like on page 30 and after the first few pages I lose train of thought and move onto something else LOL....Thanks for finding this and sharing this will make it so much easier.

Hello there. You're welcome :)
I felt the same way, since I always have deadlines on other things to do. It got frustrating, especially on the long long response lists, as you've said. Ugh.

Hi Karen,
Yeah I really find that annoying, I usually only post at the end of the conversation unless someone has posted something I just don't agree with and there have not been too many posts yet. I would say that the email notifications usually point me to the end of the conversation. (Which is Good).

Hello Laker. Yes, it was truly annoying to me, as well. The other way makes much more sense and save a lot of time.
Hope you're enjoying your day :))
