Migraines

I suffered from migraines whenever i leave the air-con switched on overnight. Having a migraine is not just a headache, you will feel nausea and your head feels like its gonna explode.migraine is only temporary and will leave after 3-4 months. So don't worry unnecessarily. It is just temporary

i seldom suffer migraine/simple headache but when it hits me..aahh!! it breaks me out, i usually take over-the counter medicines like ibuprofen or naproxen stop what i' doing and like you rest in dark room, close my eye and relax...i always make sure that i have complete rest in the evening to avoid this migraine..

I suffer from migraines. I felt tremendous pain. Was about 4 years, my disease migrants. I've tried medication but no satisfactory results. All medications are for pain..... If the disease had relapsed migraine, head pain.... It to make any bad... Just like you, wonder if my brain cancer.. Almost everyday i felt pain in my head. Now i message therapy. In A week, i Message 2 times. and thankfully, my illness is now somewhat reduced... Have a nice day

yeah, i have suffer several times.it will happen after shopping or when i am in the crowded place.i cannot bear it and i will drink a cup of water and go to sleep,then i will get better.i wish i will never get migraine.God bless us!

I alsoo suffer from migrenes and know how terrible it feels - pain that you cannot place in one spot, nusea, my eyeballs feel like exploding, overall body discomfort... I got some painkillers and vomit-preventive pills form my doctor and so far it works... However I think my body starts getting used to the treatment as I noticed that it takes me longer to numb the pain... Last time I had to take the pill twice to make it work. So now am all paranoid and every headache am treating immediately with pain-killers before it becomes a real migrene (I guess that's why my body stops responding to painkillers properly).

Thankfully I haven't suffered a migraine in quite a few years! I used to be just like you, in a dark room trying to sleep it off. I think my body changed, as the body does in different phases of our lives, and the migraines finally left me.

Hi carmelbg! I have migraine too. This started when i was 20 years old. I have been staying up late at night because i was reviewing for the board exam. I think due to lack of sleep i had the illness. On the second day of my board exam i had the first attack. I was taking the exam with a very intense headache. I was just lucky i passed the board. Since then up to now migraine is still with me. Everytime i have an attack, i sleep, i dont eat cause i might vomit and i take pain relievers. Sometimes it takes 2 days before its gone. It seems my blood vessels in my head are all inflamed. Its a different kind of pain. I hope someday my migraine will completely go away.

I experianced tension headaches very similar but they never went away 7 days a week 24hrs a day for a couple years. I went to a nurologist who gave me a very mild dose of amitripilin and I only had to take half of the dose and the headache was gone! When I got rid of them I was able to stop taking the pills as I hate taking long term meds and I was able to think more clearly. Now when I get them I pray............ and faith them away! It for me really does come with stress and when I get them I just reevaluate my situation and realize I am stressing to much, Then I pray pray pray and It works for me! When I had them daily I just couldnt get a good min to even try to think straight about what was causing the issue. I also was thinking I had a brain tumor or something exploding from my brain lol!
