Do you sometimes wish that you have done things differently and can bring back

so what are those things you have done before in your life that gave you lots of regret. cause for me i thought that back then i never knew what i will regret in my life as an adult. i didn't really regret that i was not successful in my studies. that i don't have stable job. and that i was not rich, or that i was not intelligent. there was only one regret in my life and that was not able to spend my life with my special friend before as i keep ignoring this friend out of fear of rejection. so if i had not that fear. i could have lived life totally differently and i should have this person as my closest friend. it was kind of sad as the Lord gave this friend to me but i ignored it. really sad. but it is one thing that i had to forget and just accept that i lost this one dear friend. i don't what happened dto this dear friend . all i know that this friend is successful in life. he is a totally good person. a true friend indeed. i saw some sadness in his eyes before every time i avoid this person. we didn't bump into each other much often. but somehow it dawned to me something, that realization that he cuold have been the friend i wished for. i know you may thing that it is jsut a friend. there are many friends out there. yeah for other people, it is that easy. but i am just a loner since birth. making friends was almost impossible form e back then. i had fears and so many insecurities. anyways, that is past. i am just hoping God will just bring me some form of happiness if ever i don't see person again and be his friend in the last part of my life here on earth. i just realized how short life is. yesterday i was young, now i am almost 40. i grew old expecting this person somehow appeared in my life again .

Well, they are not worth mentioning because it's not a good example...

i wasn't an attractive person before so no one got interested with me. LOL. if i was attracted person i bet i end up with a partner so early in life. anyways, it is sad to hear that things didn't turn up right. but i think it is not really the age but i think it is just you didn't end up with the good person. hope that you have better partner now or if single just a happy life with your kids.

I do have a great hubby now and my kids are all grown up and that makes it just me and hubby. Kinda makes it a little easier at times. Good luck with the rest or your life..Keep smiling.

yeah i wish that i could say one day in my heart that i could accept whatever had happened in life. but it seems the healing process is starting now but it is moving too slow though. i need some beautiful things i guess to happen in my life so i can forget my regrets in life. i need some beautiful things to happen to me some nice blessings that somehow will be kind of compensation if you can call it that way.

the way we view things make the whole of difference on how we deal with our mistakes in the past.

that is great then that you are living the life you wish for in life. you are lucky. continue to live your dreams.

I hope I can live with my dreams. I almost there. I just hope I can reach that. I hope so...

yeah i think that most people had some or many that the regret doing in life. only few people can actually say that they are really happy and nothing do they regret but i guess they were brought up well and was given with lots of love and understand by people around them. but for people like me who seemed to faced life with few friends i had lots of regrets.

when i was younger, i received lots of advice . all were good advice, and i was given warnings that if i don't take my life seriously and face all my problems early on in life that it will make my life more miserable and i will go through life miserable. and she was right. she gave the right advice on how i can turn things, situations or problems around and how to take my life back but i was too scared to face my problem back then when i was 24 back then. and i didn't listen to it though i know it was right advice deep in my heart. and now i really regret for taking things or problems lightly. she said not to push my problem aside and pretend it does not exist cause it will haunt me and it will keep bigger as days go. and it did actually. and now i feel now is the time. i had enough of this misery. i had enough of failures. i had enough of disappointments. i want to be a new person, i want to show the world who i am . to show them my good and beautiful side. it does not going to be easy to prove to the world that i can do something that i am something. i know i didn't clearly say what the problem was or what i really want to see in life. i will just have it for myself. but i plan to prove to people around me what i can do and what i should have been if i just back then dealt with my problem.

yeah, we can a point in our life when we have to make important decision that will affect and determines our future.

yes i think that we mostly guilty of being wrong set of friends at one time in our lives. and we can't bring back our past and only leaves us wit regrets only. but we have no choice but to accept our own mistakes and try to be different this time.

yeah, we learned by our mistakes no matter how painful and bitter we had been through. we only have to make the best of every thing even those bad things that happened in our lives.
