| Fall Composting  | | | |  If you are a gardener like me, you've probably spent the first half of this fall composting. I could never get the complete answer on this.
Should I cover my compost pile in winter? I never did before and it seems fine,but some people tell me I should. Anyone know for sure? I would appreciate any advice I get on this or the topic in general.Thanks much!!!

| |  shiloh hi many years back on the farm we just left our compost uncovered and the compost tilled into the veggie beds grew great veggies so guess it doesn't hurt
the compost to be uncovered at all. we always had more vegetables and fruit that we could can and use, and sold a lot to the townspeople. they were large too so our compost must have worked just fine.
