how i wish i have a dog!!

First thing of advice I'll give you is NOT to go to a pet store... I always look at the local shelters. If you're seriously looking for a dog, they will work with you. Let you take the dog for a walk to see how you get along... put the 2 of you in a seperate room to let you get aquainted. I never worry about breeds or anything like that - sure some dogs are known for this or that or this or that... but in the end... regardless of what kind of dog it is, its all in how you raise him or her.

Good luck! Dogs are a BLAST to have around! Wonderful companions, and good security devices! I wouldn't trade my 2 hellians in for anything!:)

My best advice is to love your dog and treat them like one of the family, but don't give them human food. It just shortens their life span and we want our best friends to stick around a little bit longer.

Rescue a dog. Go to the humane society as many people now cannot afford to keep a dog or need to move to a place that doesn't allow them. It doesn't cost that much to get a dog there. The money you save should be used for a physical exam & shots at a vet, training, supplies and good food.

And as for food, research it and get the best quality you can afford. It might be a little more expensive but can save you in the long run on medical and grooming fees.
