What do you when someone interrupt while you're talking? |
|
For me it's quite rude when someone interrupt while you're talking, it annoys me sometimes especially when the person is not really close to me, and I'm discussing very important thing. But when someone interrupt by just saying hi or hello then I don't mind, but participating or worse diverting the discussions gets into my head.
What do you do when someone interrupt while you're talking? Do you tolerate that kind of behavior?

4. getbrowser (1425) | 1 month ago | To be honest, I have never met such a unexpected situation before. But if I meet someone who interrupt me for some unknown reasons, then I will try my best to calm myself down.
From where I stand, if one is well educated, they won't interrupt others while they're talking. It is obvious that it's rude to interrupt anybody in a conversation unless the interrupter is invited by one or more of the interlocutors to participate.
Of course, I won't try to find the real reason why one interrupt me, but I choose to believe that these type of people who cut me off are unintentional. Then, I will continue my words without any hesitation.

I DO rather wish to say that I am very impressed how you worded it too. What a tactful well-mannered gentleman you are indeed!

5. Gareth126 (724) | 1 month ago | hi there... I have had few experiences on that. there are people with bad manners and sometimes it's better to teach them little lessons. Everytime this happens to me.. I would usually tell the person to wait for me to finish my talking. Of course, i would do it politely so as not to create a scene. I cannot tolerate this behavior mainly because it cuts off my chain of thought and i'll end up forgetting what i was talking about.

careguarden (489) | 1 month ago | Oh yeah, I agree with you. Most of the time when someone interrupt while I'm talking, I tend to forget and get lost the topic and things that I'm going to say, I often lost for words, that gets me upset. Though I end up saying nothing, still I let the person talked and haven't tried asking the person a favor to let me finish my talking, like you did. It's nice that you manage it well.

6. redthaidevil (569) | 1 month ago | Yes. I agree that its rude. I think that people who like to interrupt aren't patient and maybe you can call them immature. I think they need to learn the fundamentals of being polite, it actually can help them make new friends and gain more respect from everyone else.
