My husband never cooked when he was still in the country. I prepared everything for him. he had no problems what to eat every meal for I personally prepared what he eats. Now that he is in Japan and is alone in the house, he has no choice but to do his best to learn how to cook. To make things easier for him, I teach him how to cook and that's through Skype. I give him the instructions and he follows what I tell him. It's like I am there to help him even if I am miles apart from him. I was kidding him that by the time he comes home, he will be the one to prepare our daily meal. At least for now he has improved his cooking and he can eat what he likes. I'm glad that there is internet.

That is just so cool. If you don't mind, your husband is working in Japan? That's actually cool to learn to cook online, with you instructing him what to do and all that, especially through Skype. Skype is such a cool technology; I've used it only briefly before, but have yet to again. This is the best part about having internet; or should I say the beauty of the internet.

Hi dorisday, your husband is so lucky to have you as loving wife. For you are such a caring and considerate wife of him. Really, without you to prepare him all the 3 yummy daily important meals surely he finds difficulty when feeling hungry. I think you do worry a lot about his daily 3 meals when he left for Japan and stays alone. There is always a way when there is a will. Any you are smart enough to teach him how to cook via Skype. It's so wonderful that he can follow every step and using the right ingredients to prepare the meal under your guide. We are fortunate that we can enjoy the all the advanced technology devices which can help u to solve many problem easily. I'm glad to know that your husband can enjoy his homemade favorite foods now Have a nice day and happy posting

I am fortunate that my husband left to anotehr country just in time that the technology is super advanced. At least my worries are lessened . . if he wants to have new menu, I would tell him to buy first the ingredients which he lists down. Then the cooking lessons follow once he gets all the ingredients needed.

That is really neat that you do that. I am sure that it is hard for the two of you to be apart but you can still be together via Skype and spend time together cooking. I think that, that is very nice. I certainly hope he cooks a couple of meals for you when the two of you are together again in the same country together. The internet certainly is amazing.

What a great idea! Skype is a really cool site. I prepare all of the meals as you do. The difference between us is my husband can cook but he can use the computer!
