ation: Cyber Monday is after Black Friday and all the weekend shopping after Thanksgiving is done. Many people go online the following Monday to buy items online. Some sites are having sales for Cyber Monday. I don't have anything for money to do that, but I will be looking at the sites to see what kind of sales and deals they may have.

I will be checking out the sales, but it is doubtful that I will purchase anything. Money is very tight this year. Having said it for a few years now, I truly mean it! With only one income and the price of heat and electricity so high I have to tighten my purse strings.

Can you imagine how slowly computers on sales sites are going to be working on that day? I'll look, but I don't have any $ to buy anyway. If I had made payout here, I might be tempted, but I didn't.

No, I do not think I will participate. I will already have my stuff picked out, but I am not into all the sales. Besides that, I will be working.

MY GOSH...can they think of anymore hypes to get you to spend your money? You've just 3 days earlier gone thru "Black Friday!" that has emptied your pockets! I truly don't think that I could handle the hype, after watching the US News stories, and all the folks waiting in line for hours! Thank goodness, north of the 49th parallel...we only have the hype of Boxing Day! My lovely US neighbours have got to be made out of better stuff than me...Thanksgiving would take all the energy out of me (just the shopping for that...let alone bargain hunting.) Cheers!

Sorry, my friend, didn't understand your last question. But, truly, I do hand it to the stamina of the US shopper. Thanksgiving/Black Friday/aCyber Monday..WOW! And all so close to Xmas...for you, that is! And if I remember correctly, you are from the East Coast...? NONO...it is NO consolation knowing that we will and when...get another GAS tax, just like we will NEVER know if it is ever put to use...other than embellishing the legislators bank account! Are you having unusual weather in your area? Sure is here, in B.C., incredible winds/rain.....so facing days isolated as Ferries can't run in the wind...and ofcourse, power out, more than on! Cheers!

Many Southerners don't know about Canada. Border Patrol have said that people show up with fur coats on 90 degree days from down south. That's why I was teasing about Kentucky. My friend, I don't know who those shoppers are. I watch tv and see many, many people. But the people I know aren't the crazies going to those sales. I wish they would go back to opening up later and having reasonable sales. You would have really admired my Mother. We would go somewhere shopping and she could shop from sunrise to sunset. I would have to sit down. My Mother only took a break to eat lunch. Even after her 2nd time with cancer, once she recooperated, she could out shop me and outwalk me. I have to sit down. My Mother was a farm girl. She could walk behind a tractor and throw bails of hay all day. When she became a Mom to 4 children, had a husband and my uncle to buy for, she would go somewhere and marathon shop. No one, and I mean no one, could keep up with her, not even my construction worker Father. I just mean that you have 1 time a year they raise taxes, they do it every time we turn around up here. Take sales tax. They were 7% one week, then 7.5% the next, then back down to 7, then up to 8, then 8.5, then down to 8. For about 4 weeks, I didn't know how much to give a cashier for a dollar, to say nothing about anything else. NY State, we don't even know when we'll have a budget. Supposed to be April, but it's been August or even Sept. or Oct. Terrible for schools, colleges and people who do business with the state.

I wouldn't have any money either but would be fun to go online and check out the sales. I want to buy a book and few things for my kids so I may check it all out. You never know there may be something we can afford. I enjoy the decorations and festivities anyway. I will enjoy HSN and QVC alot. They are some of my favorite places.

Etsy is a craft site. Some stuff is beautiful, some stuff is utilitarian, etc. It's simple to get on, just www. the word etsy and .com. On top, I search all kinds of stuff on there, homemade and recycled or homemade and Christmas presents. The site has a custom made (also called Alchemy where your ideas are transformed into a craft reality) feature where people can ask for something they want made, that's interesting. I also search supply and whatever items I might need in the future to see if there are any supplies for that particular craft there. Storque is an interesting feature, talks about how to have a better site store, has featured sellers, and sometimes craft videos or step-by-steps on crafts. Of course, you can always go with the first page that comes up. They're gearing up for cyber Monday, so the first page and next few pages will be for that. But there is soooo much more to this site. I hope you get a chance to give it a browse. I have a mylot friend there, too. I hope to make a craft well enough to be on there someday. I love to see all the wonderful things others have made.

Not sure what Etsy is but Ebay is good too. The two I mentioned home shopping at its best. I really enjoy them. They are on cable and I have watched them for several years now.
