Somebody once said that everyone is entitled their two moments of fame. What is that moment for you, when you were the cynosure of every eye and everyone was looking up at you?
For me it was ceremony which I performed for my granny. As per our traditions this can only be performed when Granny turns 80 and only the eldest grandson can perform this ritual. It was really fun doing it with the whole family gathering around. The function is called Kanaka Abhishekam (Golden Bath).
So what's your flashlight moment!!
Cheers!

I had a moment like this when I was in high school, I took part in a writing contest, I thought it was just a school thing, didn't know it involved the whole city and everyone knew there was this thing...but it happened that I won. I didn't show up when they gave the prize because I didn't even know I had won.
My piece was very 'different' than the norm and I intentionally wrote it in a low quality language, I didn't mean to win!!
Anyways, when I learnt I won, almost everyone in town knew me, I checked out what the judges said about my piece and found they didn't get a thing about it, they built uo meanings between the lines that weren't there or were totally different.

I honestly don't think I've had any moments like this.. There was one time when I was in elementary school and we had a clarinet performance that was on the news..LOL..But that's about it. I wouldn't really call it my "fifteen minutes of fame" though. lol. So hopefully it's coming up!
