If dinasours are true, are they in the Bible too?

dinosaurs not mentioned in the biblical, the scientists found it in rocks that have frozen millions of years ago. All I know is the last created is human than others creatures. Climate change that causes living beings to change and multiply, so that in the past human was big like giant now become small.

Hi Fulltank, The Bible is a fairly new book as far the history of the earth is concerned. Dinosaurs were here millions of years before man and were certainly not here in Bible times. Man has been here at least fifty million years and dinosaurs had disappeared millions of years before man appeared on the earth. I have read the Bible many times and I can assure you that dinosaurs are not mentioned there. Blessings.

According to the Genesis account, animals were created during the fifth and sixth creative periods or ‘days.’ If the Hebrew expression translated “great sea monsters” [Hebrew, tan·ni·nim'] includes dinosaurs, which often inhabited swampy, watery areas, this would mean that dinosaurs were created on the fifth “day.” (Gen. 1:21) We do not know whether they continued to exist until man was created (toward the close of the sixth “day”). At the very latest it seems likely that they must have disappeared off the earth at the time of the flood of Noah’s day. Dinosaurs were reptiles, and some kinds of dinosaurs bear strong resemblance structurally and otherwise to lizards (sauros is, in fact, the Greek word for “lizard”; saura in Leviticus 11:29, LXX). I don't know if the word "dinosaurs" were ever written in the Bible. But I know that their existence was present in the Book of Genesis...only that the literal word was never written. I think it was "beasts" they call it.

Hello Fulltank. Sure they are written of in the bible my preacher teaches that they are in the bible. I don't know the scripture but he knows where it is. He has a web site it is http://www.shepherdschapel.com/index.cfm. I have been listening to him for over 5 years but I can't remember where it is written. There is no mention of dinosaurs in the bible because the word dinosaur was invented many years later. There are tales of dragon like creatures in the Bible such as Behemoth and Leviathan and it's not entirely unlikely that these tales could be inspired by findings of fossilized dinosaur bones in the past. Back then they just didn't know the bones were from creatures that went extinct many million years ago and the most rational conclusion for them must've been it was bones from dragons.
