Many Christians know what they believe about their faith, God, Jesus, and many other things. However, they have no clue as to why they believe the things they do. What would this world look like if Christians not only had firm convictions and beliefs, but also knew why they believed those things? That is the premise of Christian Apologetics; it's all about defending the faith. These books are, in my opinion, the best books on the subject of Apologetics in modern Christianity. What books would you list in your favorite on Apologetics?
10. The Case for Christ by Lee Strobel
9. The Case for Faith by Lee Strobel
8. More Than A Carpenter by Josh McDowell
7. Jesus Among Other Gods by Ravi Zacharias
6. What's So Great About Christianity? by Dinesh D'Souza
5. Beyond Opinion by Ravi Zacharias
4. The Reason for God: Belief in God in an Age of Skepticism by Timothy Keller
3. Christian Apologetics by Norman Geisler
2. Who Made God? by Ravi Zacharias and Norman Geisler
1. Mere Christianity by C.S. Lewis

It's always heartwarming to see my fellow men defending God and truth. We should be convinced of our beliefs and also be able to reason and back up by Scripture why we believe something as opposed to something else.
My practice is to read the Scriptures daily and try to understand the divine will. I enjoy reading the comments of other truth seekers.
To the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth!
Though the heavens fall, the truth be told.

You are absolutely right; we should know what we believe and exactly why we believe. Some people misunderstand that and think that they have to have all the answers to every question, but that's not how it is. If we are going to stand up and proclaim the Gospel, we should know how to defend what we believe. Every other cult and religion knows what they believe and the reasoning behind their beliefs. I appreciate your response and it is always great to find fellow believers on here proclaiming the truth of God's Word. If you have time, you should definitely check out any of the books written by Ergun Caner. He is the President of Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary (the first former Muslim to be the dean of a Christian seminary).

It is my belief that God is actually uniting all true believers. And it works this way;
John 4:23 (New International Version)
23Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks.
I did take some time to listen to Ergun Caner on U-tube. He is certainly a very charismatic man. However I follow no man. I follow Jesus. If another man is walking the same way then that is fine. For I would wish that the whole world, if it were possible, would walk with Jesus.

Although I haven't read the apologetic books for a long time.I can still at least three books on your list. That was my first encounter of apologetic book when I became a Christian for the 2 years in my high school age.Your list did help my memory for the first feel years when I first accept the Jesus as my saviour.Time goes by really fast and the grace of God is always there.I hope that God will use all your knowledge and your skills to be blessing for others.May God use you in a mighty way.God bless you.
