Would dolls clothes sell online? |
| |
| I have mentioned in a previous discussion that I have a french knitting set but don't know where the patterns have gone to...the patterns were for dolls clothes & if I find the patterns, I was going to start making them again..do you think that doll clothes - either knitted or crocheted would sell online? | | | | | |

| | It is quite probable. Have you heard of reborn dolls? These are very life-like dolls that people can spend a fortune on. They are very expensive and some owners spend a lot on outfits so if you were doing individual hand knits that might be a good market to aim for. | | | | | | |

| | Definitely. If they looked good. By that I mean, old fashioned-looking doll clothes would sell better to older women. My grandmother collects dolls and im sure she would purchase them online | | | | | | |

| | Nowadays dolls like dollfies or pullips have grown pretty popular, and owners usually have more than one. Some of them know how to make their doll's clothes, but some others don't, and they usually look online clothes to purchase for their dolls, so I think you'd be able to sell them. | | | | | | |

| | It could be possible. There are alot of sites you can try to sell on. Ebay, I like craiglist and walmart has free classifieds now also to post on. So dose the newspaper in your area. Also the pennysaver. Good luck to you. | | | | | | |

| | I never thought of selling on craigslist...can you sell stuff on there if you are outside Australia? I have been there but haven't used it much. | | | |

| | Craigslist is here in the states, but its more of a local market I think, etsy might be a better site for selling things - its a craft version of ebay - sort of. | | | |

| | I don't know if craiglist is for Australia or not. I use it a lot but I believe eBay is nationally. Hope you had a nice Thanksgiving.. Good Luck to you | | | |

| | I think they would if you can find the right marketing outlet. As someone else said, craigslist would be good. I'm not sure about retail outlets, but etsy.com or ebay. You might sell more after Christmas, when new dolls have been received for Christmas and people want more clothes for them. | | | | | | |
