It's really dramatic..he quoted some of the earning tips, saving tips and investing tips in that book and gave maximum publicity to that book...naturally that book eye cached by many, increased sales of that book and he got high commission on sales...
But the other end,i don't evident that no one could earned money by reading that book..Have you seen that type of books..

Is it a printed one or an ebook? This type of books generally makes good business as everybody looks for good scopes to earn money. These type of books are more of putting some idea and general guidelines, but so far i saw none to earn through these books. I came across some ebooks of same nature. But still people buy them as they need a path to earn.
Thank you.

I have know a lot of books of some people pretending to be online gurus that have launched a lot of books which tackles the secret of getting rich quickly or have other tips or listing of those legal jobs which promises a lot of profits and yet seem like full of lies. Though. selling books or being an author is still a business and everyone have their own strategy to make them better. But, most of the times one could not get rich or learn quickly by just reading it if one never try to move to uses his talents and skills.

Interesting. I guess, then, in the book, one of the ways he could write about would be: "write a book about how to make money".

Oh yes, I used to read books like that all the time. Usually I did not learn a whole lot but I would get to read about other people who became successful and how they did it which was good to know and interesting as well as very inpsiring. I have learned a few things over the years from those books and put them in to use, nothing that will make me rich but will at least help me save some money over the years.
