When I was a kid, I hate a certain time of the day, when the news was on TV. I am not really interested on current affairs then, It really bores me, Id'd rather watch the power puff girls hehe. But now, I am not a fan, but I have nothing against watching it. I even listen to it, imagine that haha. But sometimes I still click the remote and turn the tv towards disney channel haha.

I think it is important to know what is happening in the world. But I also think it is important to take a break from the news.

before i don't like news, instead i watch cartoon network and watch dexters lab. but, as time goes by, i've become conscious on what is happening in the planet and in our country. eventually i stick now with news not cartoons anymore. but if the news are repeating, that's the time i'll go on and check other channels especially watching spongebob haha~

I really like spongebob eventhough he is gay haha. Ever heard of the banned episode of spongebob squarepants where spongebob was so gay hahaha, I wish I could have watched it, I love him in any way ehehe.

I will watch CNN most days. I think it's important to stay up to date on what is going on in the world around me.

No, I don't, because I don't have TV, but if I have, I still will not watch the news, because it is something so commercial at present days. All the news have something political in it and I hate politics, so I don't watch it.

Haha, I could perfectly understand your concerns. I had similar experiences while growing up. I would always leave the monitor once they have started airing the news. But now, my day does not end until I was able to have a glimpse of any news for that day. I guess news programs are really for more mature audiences.
