What does Pumpkin Pie taste like?

Good ole pumpkin pie. YUM!! It's alot like sweet potato pie only spicy. People who eat one usually do not like the other. I love pumpkin pie but sweet potato pie is too bland for me. I have a friend who eats sweet potato pie but finds pumpkin too spicy. You can buy a pumpkin pie at the supermarket. Try one and see for yourself.

I love pumpkin pie. It does resemble sweet potato pie to me. I like mine to have areal cinnamon taste to it. I usually don't make mine fron scratch. I buy it from a bakery to save time..lol.

It is similar in taste to sweet potato yes. Think nutmeg and clove. No it isn't bitter at all. It is creamy and smooth in texture. My brother in law loves it!

It's hard to describe the taste. I love it especially with a dollop of whipped cream! Mmmmmmm! For me I can only describe it as a sweet, nutty taste with a hint of cinnamon and nutmeg and other delicious spices. I've never made it myself so I don't know all that goes into it.
