Keno - is it a complicated game?

Next time I go to the casino, I'd really like to play Keno! The only problem is, is that I don't know how to play - and even after reading the instructions, it's still all too confusing for me. I've looked it up online, too, and I still dont' really understand the point of it. Can anyone explain the game to me, NOT using gambler's jargon, so that I can understand it fully and try it next time I go?
And to turn this into a discussion.. Do you like keno? Do you tend to have a lot of luck on it?

as per my concern i didnt play it in my life but i will definately try my luck out of it.lol !

No, I don't like keno and never really had any luck with it. My husband and I used to play from time to time in Maryland. As I recall, it's similar to playing the lottery...only it's faster. You fill out a card...either pick your own numbers or let the machine pick some randomly for you. The amount you win depends on the number of numbers you select, the amount of money you bet and how many of your numbers come up. There's a new game every couple of minutes so it doesn't take long to loose you a$$.
