I don't get time off, but if I were to watch movies, they'd probably be science fiction - and I don't mean HORROR.

I love time travel, and if you want a really sweet romantic time travel story - Somewhere In Time is just the ticket. Christopher Reeve just after Superman and a lovely story. My personal favorite is The Final Countdown about the U.S.S. Nimitz ending up at the attack on Pearl Harbor. You can always opt for Star Wars, but I'm not much of a fan of the - prequels, like the original one best actually. The comic book movies are always good escapist flicks, I quite like about all the Superman ones, the first of the 1990's Batman and the new Batman/Dark Knight movies. I have to say Daredevil holds a special place in my heart since I loved the comics. And while I never read Ironman, I really liked the movie.

I do plan on watching a lot of movies during the break! My list contains a lot of animated films, including: -Up -Shrek 3 -Ice Age: The Meltdown I'll probably also watch some comedies, and I'm hoping to go see Old Dogs in theaters before Christmas gets here. The Notebook is one of my favorite movies, so I should definitely watch that this Christmas!

Hello! I never heard Juno and Borat. I greatly love Twilight and up to now I still watch it on DVD, very pleasing and wonderful to watch. I love Twilight because the story is very light and simple but with lots of tender moments together. It has a wonderful plot too. Thanks for sharing!

The movies you chose are really good Shawshank Redemption is one of my favourites I prefer watching comedies and lighter movies during this holiday season though, I will re-watch Love Actually, I will probably watch The Nightmare Before Christmas I have wanted to watch it for ages but always put it off, I like Tim Burton's films and can't believe I haven't seen this one I really enjoyed Corpse Bride and Sleepy Hollow, The Chocolate Factory is a fun holiday movie. Then it also depends what is available on Tv, and I always have a stack of movies to watch that I get during the year and stack up waiting to have time to watch. Probably Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian, Secondhand Lions, the new Star Trek, Serenity(again).

Since I'm retired due to disability I don't have a "Christmas break" but I watch movies all the time. I have so many recorded on my DVR and so many good ones coming up to be recorded I'm going to have to have quite a few marathons to get caught up! Would you believe, for all the movies I've seen "The Shawshank Redemption" is the only one you mentioned that I've seen and I loved that one. I've heard so many good things about "The Notebook" and I definitely plan on seeing it. I really don't know how it is that I haven't seen it so far. There are several holiday movies I usually enjoy watching each year and there are always a few new ones each year also to go along with all the others I'll be watching. Annie

Here is the movie I would watch during my Christmas Holidays. In fact I have watched this movie many times, and it always makes me fee happy and jolly every time I watch it. It certainly is one of my favorites of all time ! Do you want to know which one it is ? Should I reveal my secret ? Ha ha ! Just feeling happy ! It is " White Christmas " with Bing Crosby, Danny Kay, and Rosemarie Clooney.

We are giving our kids some movies for Christmas, so I am sure we will be watching some of them. But, do enjoy these blu-ray/digital copy packs that we got the kids for Christmas. This way we can have two copies of a movie so when they destroy the one, we have a back up. We will be watching X-men Origins Wolverine, Twilight, and the new Harry Potter.

Hi, I don't want to argue which one is the best, but i want to introduce you to one called Baby’s day out. Baby’s Day Out is a family comedy film, which was released in 1994 and considered as the toddler brother of Home Alone. The film has a very simple storyline. It starts on a sunny morning. Baby Bink is a toddler from a rich American family. He lives in a huge mansion with his adoring parents. He also has a caring babysitter, who likes to read stories from a book titled Baby’s day out. For the purpose of appearing in the social pages of a newspaper his mother invites a locally renown photographer to take pictures of baby Bink. Unfortunately three kidnappers came to his home pretending to be the photographer and his assistants. They used a few tricks and successfully kidnapped Baby Bink. However it’s just the beginning. Before long they find Baby Bink is a lot smarter than them. They have great trouble to keep hold of Bink. Finally the baby even escapes from the kidnappers’ house without any help. Then a chase ensues all over the city for Bink.

Thanks!I appreciated your suggestions, excellent movies indeed. I never seen the golden compass and I want to watch it because I liked the two people behind that movie, the lead star Nicole Kidman and the director Chris Weitz (the same director of New Moon, second installment of the Twilight saga).
