While shaving do you use hot or cold water. In what kind of water do you have a comfortable shave.? Do you find any difference between hot and cold water when you shave.

Count me in for hot water! I like the burning sensation on my face as I shave with hot water. The cool shaving lotion afterwards compensate for the burning feeling when you're done shaving.

When soap and water are being used, Hot water is definitely best.

In winter, hubby always wants warm water for his daily shave so I guess its warm water in winter and normal tap water in summer…I think soap lathers better with warm water, isn’t it.

Some people say that soap lathers better with warm water, I do not find any difference.

I think that it has to be hot water! To shave with cold water well, this would make things very uncomfortable and I'm pretty sure that I would constantly be cutting myself. We are now entering the winter months and I don't think that it would be wise to shave with cold water. When I shave I don't rush and I take it easy and it's very comfortable this way. Andrew

I do shave my beard with nor cold or hot water but with warm water which helps to increase more lather out of the shaving cream. and within just two minutes of time all the hairs in beard will be soft and its gives a nice and smooth feeling while shaving.
