I use only cloth towel for wiping the body or face after bath or face wash. I have turkey towel, but I feel comfortable only with simple cloth towel. What do you use to wipe body and face after bathing or face washing? Is it an ordinary cloth towel or turkey towel?

Hi, Buchi_bulla. I have never heard of a turkey towel before? Does it look like an ordinary towel? I will wash my face and body with a wash cloth that is small. It is in the shape of a square.

Turkey towel is a thick cloth with fibres attached and it absorbs water easily and fully. I have uploaded the image in my discussion.

Yes. They are similar to the towels the image of which I uploaded in my discussion. They are thick cloth with fibres and quickly water absorbing type.

I usually dry my face off with a dry wash cloth or a towel. Sometimes I just let it air dry if I only washed my face from the sink. I dry it off when taking a shower or bath though.

Some times I too leave the face as it is to dry in the air. That way I feel fresh and cool.

I have a long towel for wiping after shower, but I seldom use it now. I used it a lot in the past. I still fee more comfortable with my short towel. It is an ordinary one.

Hi Buchi, I am comfortable with cloth towel for bathing and a turkey towel is good for wiping the face. But it is difficult to keep both towels at same time so I prefer to use the cloth towel for multipurpose. I have seen that some people are using turkey towel after a shower and I don’t know how they manage the same for wiping the head and hair.

My daughter ties turkey towel in a matted way to the hair. I wonder how she does that. But I like malayalam towel which comes in many colours and thin and absorb water, to tie my hair.

Hi buchi-bulla, well you've completely stumped me here as I have never heard of a turkey towel. What on earth is it and does it actually have any association with turkeys at all. All my towels are cotton towels and that's all I ever use.

No No please. Turkey towels have absolutely no association with turkeys. Why they are called that way, I do not know. ordinary cloth towels are water absorbing cotton towels which are thin and easy to dry and carry. Turkey towels are thick cloth containing fibres, which are soft and water absorbing is too good. They are available in different colours and designs too. Some turkey towels are of light weight too but they are space occupying.

Hi Buchi, I use the type of thin and smaller size facecloth to wipe my face after face wash in the morning and before going to bed. I wash my towel everyday. Therefore I dislike using the thick and big turkey towel as it takes longer time to get dried on the line. I prefer the smaller size and thin cloth towel. It serves its purpose as well as the turkey towel. It's just nice for me to dry my body after having bath I would like to use turkey towel when I go to swim. Covering my wet body with the big and thick turkey towel can keep my body warm when leaving the pool. We need a turkey towel as well if having sauna steam bath. We don't have to bring our own towel for the clean white turkey towels are available in all the sauna steam bathhouses or rooms here Happy posting!

Hai Ikbooi, even I do the same. At home I use thin cloth towel, one for body and another for head, to tie my hair when I take head bath. When I was going to gym, I was carrying a big turkey towel, which I used to take for sauna steam bath. But now I am not going to gym. May be I have to start again.

Same as I do. I cannot tie turkey towel to my hair, when I take head bath. It is heavy and will not be easy to tie, as we want.

ordinary cloth towels are water absorbing cotton towels which are thin and easy to dry and carry. Turkey towels are, as you said, thick cloth containing fibres, which are soft and water absorbing is too good. They are available in different colours and designs too. Some turkey towels are of light weight too but space occupying.

Hai Baluyadav Sir, I am fine. How are you and your family? Sure, turkey towel will absorb water soon. You even get a soft and refreshing feeling too. Rose and Navy blue are my favourites too. I have these two colours with me. I sometimes use them.

True. Tissue paper is very comfortable when we go out. My children also use them. Somehow I am not used to it. So I take a big hand kerchief, when I go out.
