Trying this again as my discussion had a problem
Okay this is to all my friends that have my private Yahoo email address. You can imagine my shock, when upon looking at my emails I came across some emails from my friends asking about the email I "supposedly" sent them about this great deal about a laptop.
The Subject says: How are you recently
And here's the email sent:
How are you recently?
I bought a laptop from a website: www.enjoyele.com last week. I have got the product. Its quality is very good and the price is competitive. They also sell phones, TV, psp, motor and so on. By the way, they import product from Korea and sell new and original products. They have good reputation and have many good feedbacks. If you need these products, look at this website will be a clever choice. I am sure you will get many surprise and benefits.
you can contact they, Email:enjoyele@hotmail.com
Greetings!
Now anyone who knows me, knows I'm on benefits...I couldn't possibly afford even the cheapest of laptops. My email is flooded now with emails from my friends asking about this great deal...and as you can guess many suspect my email address has been hacked into.
So here I am trying to contact Yahoo and failing miserably..I can't find the right place to contact--so do any of you have a clue how I should contact Yahoo...I just can't find the place to contactsad

I have had good results using Yahoo Customers Service under the Contact Us section. Here is the link: http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/yahoomail/forms_index.html

Jeez, I hope you get it cleared up. This is exactly why I stay away from Yahoo. It seems that there are more scams on Yahoo than any other place. I have yahoo accounts but don't use my email there or very rarely anyway. I use aol and gmail. I have found gmail to be the safest of all. I have lot's of email addresses but primarily these are the two that I use. I have never had a problem with them...so far...anyway. Good luck, I hope you get it straightened out without losing your mind....lol I have gmail invites if you want one, just msg me.
Brightest blessings,
Mari

Pye, it's not necessarily that you've been hacked (although in this case you possibly have). I get hundreds of spam e-mails everyday, some of them say they have been sent by me to me. There is a lot of software out there which can change the sender's name to anything they want, often it is just randomly chosen.
However if the e-mail is sent to everyone on your e-mail address book, then you really need to do an extensive virus check on your computer, as there are some viruses which are designed to send an e-mail to everyone in your address book, giving the impression that it is from you.
I have multiple e-mail addresses for my self, and the first one in my address book is designed to alert me if I receive an e-mail with that address on it.

hi pyewacket I think I saved that I was a bit confused as the email was brief and sent to so many people and you had said you
had money problems. so I looked at this and wondered is this really from pyewacket it came in your real name and I at first thought well great pye has got a hold of some money , thats wonderful .I think I even wrote you and said I did not need a new computer or monitor but was thinking of upgrading my old windows 2000 , so that was a phoney, wow, I did think it was rather oddly worded.I am not sure but I think its abuse@yahoo.com or maybe thats my own email abuse thing. try abuse@yahoo.com and see if thats not right maybe then they will give you the right address.
good luck pyewacket and let us know if you can get hold of yahoo.
Now that I read that over I am wondering if we have a virus here hope not. sounds like someone with English as a second language sent this.
