Do you love the "snuggie?"

I have seen them EVERYWHERE! They are the blankets that have the armholes in front so you can use them while reading or when you need your hands, but still want to be warm from the blanket. They even have them for DOGS now. I saw a playboy themed one at the mall [which I just might get by the way]. What do you think about them? Do you own them? Do they really work while [keeping you warm, easy usability, does not let a lot of air get through the arm holes] I would love to see pictures of peoples dogs wearing them. I just feel like what is up with this snuggie phenomenon and should I be a part? =D

Very practical. instead of spending $20 on it, why not cut holes in your own blanket? :) lol. [I just use a regular blanket too]

We ordered some and they just don't work for us, I guess we are just to active, but the dog and cat love to use the ones I got for us.

Thats a good thing to think about, if the only time you are really still is when you are going to bed, what is the point?

Hi. chelsgrrl69. I love the snuggie blanket too. I bought one this year in January and it is truly warm and snuggly. I love having a snuggie blanket, it keeps me really warm, it is just very long. The only disadvantage to having one is the fact that it drags on the floor as you are walking. This is probably because I am so short too.

I almost got one the other day in a Dirty Santa game, and I was very, very excited about it. However, someone came in late and I ended up with some shower stuff instead (that I will be re-gifting by the way). I don't know if they work really well or not, but I love the concept of them and I would be thrilled to have one. This is despite the fact that I've been making fun of them for a while now. It stays rather chilly in our house during the winter time and a lot of times I will knot one of the blankets that I have and will wear it like a cape. I think it would be very convenient to have to wear while I am working on the computer.

All the kids around where I live want one of these of Christmas. My kid begged me for one. I did get him one but I felt kind of silly buying it. Actually I have thought of getting one to wear while my son plays hockey!! Its cold in ice rinks!!! Burrr.... Think I will get the leopard one! They should have it where you can design your own Snuggie. Wouldn't that be cool?

I have never even seen one. I am curious, how does it look? It sounds like something I would buy if I saw one around here

I have seen them to and I am seriously thinking of getting one as they do look nice warm and comfortable so I think I will be treating myself to one very soon as I suffer with the cold badly

i don't have one but i have seen the commercials. not sure if i would get much use out of one since i never get a chance to sit for long and do much of anything. i am always on the go. it looks like a nice idea though. would like to try one out just to see if i like it if i get the chance.

We haven't yet gotten ours but I did make sure that "Santa" will be bringing our family our snuggies..I think that our family will really like them especially on our family movie/game night because we will be able to cover up and be warm while we are sacking out on the couch and then also be able to stay covered when we gather around the table to play our board/card games. I am kinda excited for mine and have had a few occasions already when I think it would be nice to have a snuggie right now.

I don't like them - they don't close in the back from what I've seen. If I want a blanket that covers all of me I'll get an oversized robe and slippers. At least then my butt won't be cold. That's just my opinion though. My cousin loves hers, but like I said, she hated the fact that it didn't close in the back. So she sewed it up halfway in the back, to where she could still slip into it but it would cover her butt to keep her somewhat warm. I'm not going to say how I really feel about cats and dogs wearing them. But some of them are cute, and if they're your thing, you should go for it. =]

I saw a little video about snuggies in Boots the other day. I should imagine a lot of people think they are great but the only thing that I would become frustrated with after a while is...going to the toilet! Just getting warm in your snuggie then you're thinking, "I need the loo" and you have to take the thing off, then put it on again. That would really wind me up after a while...but that's just me lol. :-)
