people got drunk at annual Christmas party  

It's good to know that you were not part of those ladies who gossip and the man who got drunk. I am not so much interested about Christmas parties with alcoholic drinks being served. Therefore, when I go to parties, I don't last long. After eating, I just ask permission and leave. This coming Saturday would be our christmas party in our workplace. I will just go there 30 minutes before eating time and just enjoy the sumptuous food minus those intoxicating drinks.

I did that once too. I had to attend a company party and I was so nervous that I started drinking before the party...got worse once I got there. I didn't shout and yell but I did run my mouth too much. It was pretty embarrassing when I got back to work because I am normally pretty quite. Live and learn.

I no longer drink but even when I did--and I drank ALOT at one time--I seldom drank at partys to a drunken state because I would have to drive. I went to one Christmas Party that the employees paid for NOT the company and they had an open bar(no expensive name brands, you had to pay extra for those) and so many peopl got shyte faced and very drunk. Luckily the few that drove lived close to where the party was and the others had someone else drive. When I drank I would do most of my drinking at home while watching tv.

Hello clorissa my dear, I hope you didn't go getting drunk at the office party my dear as you know how those ladies can gossip afterwards especially if you end up doing that frightful thing with the photocopier which so many of you young men seem to like to indulge in these days and it is never nice to shout or yell or especially to use vulgar language.
