I have written to one of the survey groups numerous times asking them to remove me from their list of people wanting to do surveys since I never seem to be the target audience they are going for. They refuse to do so and are, in fact, sending multiple requestsa day now instead of one. Is there anyone to report this site to? Is there anyway to get off the list? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I've asked politely all the way to definitely not polite and almost not human to no avail.

You can't be serious!!! What site is that? Wow... I never knew that a site will be like that? Is it a scam? If it isn't, what you can try to do is the do their multiple surveys, as you can cash out really quickly. But if there is a reason why you really really don't want to be part of their survey group, I guess you can only try and keep sedning them rejection letters and report them to sites like GPTBoycott. Hoep you problem will be solved.

There are plenty of sites, Nameless, which will happily allow you to sign up and give your details but will then make it very difficult for you to delete the account ... and will pass on your details (it's in the Terms) to other sites.

I have never been accepted as one of the group they want to do surveys, so I see no reason to continue. It's called Global Test Market. They have increased the number of emails each time I ask them to unsubscribe. It's infuriating.

Probably the only recourse to you now is to use your email client's filter facilities and to make sure that every email from that address goes straight into the 'Junk' or 'Deleted' folder. If you have legitimately unsubscribed, as far as you are able, you can also select those mails and mark them as 'Spam'. There is very little that you can do (apart from the above) to stop someone sending you email. Most of them have machines to field emails and no humans ever see the emails and the worst of them use 'unsubscribe' messages as signups to new lists. A very last resort is to change your email address (sign up with a new account and delete your old email account).

Thank you, Owlwings, I will do what you suggest. I can't think of any other way to get rid of them either.
