How Many BR you have to UR Credit

One I come accross big guns who have posted more than ten thousand and twenty thousand responses and its obvious that they must have more than 100 best responses to their credit or more. Getting an Best Response is like an reward for standing out of all the responses in a particular discussion and helps you to make few extra cents though but i think it would be better if we dont discuss about the later one. I have some ten-fifteen Best Responses out of my 660 responses which means i managed to get 3-4 BR for 40 responses LOL which is quiet low if i am not wrong and till now i have calculated all these stuff two minutes back i was thinking of an topic and started this one. Then how about you how many BR you have to your credit and Do yo keep track of them.

Hi Sunnycool, once you hit the hundred it gets hard to calcualate them as the pages jump in 4's only. The last time I checked them was about a month ago and it was nearly 500 so it's probably closer to 600 now I would think. I always like receiving them, and giving them too, I just wish they'd make it easier to see them beyong the first 10 pages. Maybe I'll check them again at the end of the year.

No tips I'm afraid, I just open the box and type the first thing that comes into my head. It's why I keep getting told off as well.

I have never really counted my BR but for the benefit of this discussion I went to my profile and counted the number of BRs I got for my 3 years stay in mylot. It took me ages to get to the bottom and finally got the figure to be 750 BRs todate. (Not sure if I got it right). With my over 5000 responses I don't know whether that figure is good enough.

I really don't have a clue as to how many I have, but it is a lot that is for sure. I don't think there is a ratio of how many best responses to posts. It all depends on how well the response was written, and if it answered the question that was asked in the discussion. I have some discussions that I haven't even given best response to yet, but I will do that, maybe after the holidays are over. If you don't get best response at times, it is because other users had given better answers. I don't worry about how many best responses I get over how many posts I did, as you can't base any ot it on that. It is the quality of the answers that get the best response, not just because they have so many posts and should get a best response. I don't come in here to even get the best response, but when I do get it, I am happy, but I am sure not here to win a popularity contest that is for sure. Good luck to you and happy mylotting.

I have seen many of your best responses in discussions and those have nothing to do with though.I was just running out of topic so started this one and all the calculations made in the post were to check the frequency at which i get those.I wanted to know how many each one have got till date.Thank you for responding Rosekiss.Great day

Even i have joined exactly three and half months back Hazel as i have started many discussions so i have an lesser count of responses compared to you but try to keep on responding and you can improve your best responses too friend. I am new to mylot but I will share it anyway. Out of 45 responses, I was not given the best response credit even once :D Some of them doesn't have an idea to give it :D

hi Rene,welcome to Mylot.you dont have to be worried friend coz the more you respond the more chances you would have to get an best response,I had my first BR after 60 or 70 responses.some mylotters wouldnt select one quickly there are few who would give it after one year though.
