Well not from mylot, not yet anyway - i am leaving in 10 hours to my girlfriend's parents house in a small city in the mountains. There we will be spending Christmas with them and share our gifts (some of them anyway).
We will be returning home before new year's eve and we will share the presents with my parents and my brother then (probably on 29-30 of December) so i hope he get in touch again by then.
How about you, what plans do you have for the upcoming Christmas ? Going anywhere or just staying at home ?

That sounds like a wonderful vacation for you, and what a beautiful setting! I hope you and yours have a blessed Christmas and a New Year filled with health and prosperity!
I will go to my cousin's on Christmas Eve for an hour or so then come home to my dogs. My sons aren't coming this year but one will be here for a week in January so I'll have just me and the dogs in the house on Christmas. I'll go to my dad's and have lunch with him and my sweet stepmother and later at home I'll call my mom and my sister and my sons will each call me. So it will be different without my sons but I won't be all alone. Instead of a birthday cake for Jesus this year I think I'll make a little pie!

I'm away from home (my parents' house, that is) for most of the year, so I'm going there for Christmas or Easter. I've stayed in Bucharest for a couple of New Years' Eve parties, but I arrived at the conclusion that it's not worth it.
So, to answer you question, I'll be traveling, but only to get home, and I'll stay there.
It's not too far (somewhere in Teleorman), but you know very well that the trains are delayed and the roads have been blocked... I got there by train and I'm not leaving until 2 or 3 of January.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

I will be staying at home after work most of the coming days. I just want to relax, chill out, and wait of the new year to roll by. Sure Ill be at my Grandma's house on Christmas day, having fun with my cousins and all. I might also go out sometime if there are offers from friends. Otherwise Id just be at work then at home.
Its nice that you're going to your girlfriend's parents house. Didnt you spend Christmas there too last year? Or was that another occasion?
Anyway, that's all I remember. Enjoy your trip and have a happy holidays!

Sounds great, I bet you are looking forward to it! We don’t have any plans to leave town, in fact we don’t usually like to travel at this time of year because it is usually too expensive to fly and driving is mayhem because every man and his dog is going away for the Christmas weekend. Your trip sounds so good though, I hope you have a great time; tell us all about it when you get back.

Elitess-
Your tag line caught my attention that I just had to look! I'm very happy for your trip and I hope it is a safe one! We celebrated our Solstice dinner on Sunday and it was wonderful. It was just my husband, my children, and myself but it was lovely. We've been enjoying watching the children playing with their toys, and enjoying turkey left overs!
Have a wonderful holiday. Namaste,
Anora

I'll just be at our house just like the old times. I'll spend an hour or 2 with my girlfriend together with her parents and be back home right before Christmas eve. My girlfriends house is just a walk away anyway. Hope you'll enjoy your short vacation. Merry Christmas to you.

Hello! That's great. So, you cannot get internet up in the mountains then?
Our plans is to visit my grandparents and my brother. They live in our state so no long traveling, I probably won't use the internet for a few days around Christmas, but that's okay with me. We're going to exchange gifts on Christmas at one house and then the day after at another, cool huh? Take care happy myLotting.

elitess glad you are not leaving mylot. hi.have a great Christmas
and a Happy New Year too. i will be stuck here at Gold Crest as I have no home and no close family but my son who is out of work hence our being homeless and me being here. My son hopefully will come and spend some time with me on Christmas day. it is sort of sad on the proper holidays as we have our parties early so most of the staff can have the holiday off with their families and a lot of residents have family to spend Christmas with too. oh well its going to be interesting for sure.
